Staff helped us to arrange for a water taxi to the Marco Polo Airport, leaving from the private dock in front of the hotel. Took only 20 minutes to get to the airport at 4 am in the morning.
We had a great time staying at Residenza Ca'Foscolo. The staff was wonderful. The room was huge and very clean. The location is great since it's very close to everything. Will definitely stay here again.
This was truly an exceptional place--great location, lots of space, very clean, and staff were willing to help in any way with planning (i.e., restaurants, transportation, walking tours, etc.)
When the water taxi pulled up to this lovely residence, I knew we made the right choice. It is a historical old building complete with a 600 yr old covered well in the courtyard. The host was delightful and very helpful in suggesting sites in Venice. The room was a spacious apartment with comfortable bed in separate bedroom. The kitchen / living room was nicely furnished complete with snacks, breakfast foods, juice and yogurt. We ate several meals in the room which was convenient and cheaper than costly restaurants. The only disappointment was that our room was the only one that did not have a washer/ dryer, and we had a lot of dirty clothes from just finishing a cruise. The host did pleasantly offer to wash our laundry (no dryer), but I didn't feel comfortable with that. The location couldn't be better: 5 minutes to the Rialto Bridge and about a 15 minute walk to St. Marks Square. It was a wonderful place to stay in this beautiful city, with everything within walking distance. We also really enjoyed the Vivaldi concert at Interpreti Venezia, and the Walks of Italy tour including a gondola ride.
Fantastic! Beautiful apt off the canal! Lovely, spacious room. Great staff....
THe staff was great, the location was better. A short walk to Rialto and Piazza San Marco, with lots to see in between. We were amazed by the amount of space as well as the in-room washing machine. We were only in town for 2 nights but could have stayed weeks with the set-up provided.
Four night stay for a party of four. The apartment was everything that we had hoped for with a great location, excellent service and spacious accommodations. Very unassuming building on a quiet little square and close to great restaurants and great shopping. When we first arrived we were warmly greeted by Eleanora, the Front Desk Clerk. She was fantastic!!! She answered all of our questions before we could ask them and helped us with various reservations and recommendations. Our 2 bedroom suite was on the third floor. There are no elevators, so getting large heavy suitcases up there could be a challenge for some. There is a locked security door to get to the 2nd and 3rd floors and several security cameras monitored by the front desk which provided us with peace of mind. The suite was very clean and spacious with a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, a living room with a large dining table, and free wi-fi. The kitchen was stocked with all the dinnerware and utensils needed. Breakfast was packaged sliced meats and breads, pastries and spreads. The fridge had milk and orange juice. These breakfast items were replentished daily! Eleanora circled the nearby food market on the map she provided to us. I had the smaller bathroom whose shower was a little tight. There was a bidet and various facial moisturizing packets. The little wooden dock outside our front door was a very peaceful spot at night; perfect for enjoying a late night drink or cigar. With four people and many suitcases, we arranged for a water taxi (110 euros) to take us to the airport We would definitely stay there again
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is an apartment set-up. They give you the basic amenities and make clear what they provide and what they don't. Breakfast is included in the room, so you can leisurely wake up and enjoy yourself before starting your day. All in all, a great stay! I wish the bathroom was a bit bigger, though.
Lots of room, great location. Elizabeth was great, bottle of Prosecco for my wife's birthday. Hated to leave.
