You can ask the reception to book for you a boat taxi to arrive from the airport directly to the hotel. From the reservation to the waiters at breakfast including people at reception everybody is efficient and smiling. The room was very nicely furnished in a venetian style however with very modern amenities. Breakfast is included and served as a good buffet. The hotel is ideally located, a little outside the crowd but minutes away either from San Marco or from Rialto. Beautiful high ceilings.

We booked the hotel for 2 nights stay. Lovely hotel and lovely room. Upon arrival in our room, there was a bottle of bubbly and some fruits awaiting us in the room. We were happy for such welcome arrangement and we thought the hotel is so thoughtful in accomodating us during our honeymoon stay. We did asked the receptionist whether its for us, and the receptionist told us yes with her friendly smile. We didnt open the bottle, as we wanted to have our lunch first and to do some sightseeing. When we returned back to the hotel in the evening, we were told by the receptionist that it was a mistake and that they have already removed the bubbly and fruits from our room. Yes, the hotel staff went into our room when we were away to take back the items. Seriously we felt uncomfortable knowing the staff went into our room when we were away. We felt disapointed after reading some reviews from few other travellers that they've got complimentary of a bottle of wine or bubbly. They did, but not us. Its fine as perhaps it is subject to availability. It doesnt cost much anyway. Please think in the point of view of the hotel guests. We were being offered some complimentary items, reconfirmed by the receptionist its for us, but later on it was not. We didnt expect such service from a hotel that is in hospitality industry.

Aqua Palace is a beautiful and quiet hotel with a great location and lovely staff. A taxi boat takes guests to the hotel door, and the little landing is also great for a nightcap, with gondolas passing by inches away. The rooms are spacious and with well equipped bathrooms. I missed comfy chairs, just one hard backed chair is supplied, but every floor has sofas and chairs in the vestibule. The A/C works very well. We were given a room by the lift, rather dark and with a small window opposite a wall. As we were rather disappointed with this room, were offered another with a wonderful view across the canal. A lovely stay! Must return!

I really like this hotel and would stay here again. It is very conveniently located (5 minutes walk from Rialto and San Marco), yet still in a quiet yet accessible side street. Many good restaurants nearby. They were quite attentive (not sure if it was the deal we got) but we also got a bottle of sparkly wine and some chips / nuts. They had a tasty and good hot breakfast (american-style with eggs, sausage, I think bacon too) with attentive staff. We even got a special Christmas cookie from the staff during our breakfast on Christmas day. We stayed in their topmost floor that had a view looking out over the small canal in front of the hotel. Only downside (but I think many hotels in Europe are like this? or only Italy?) is that our queen or king size bed was actually two beds put together. Even though you put a cover or quilt to join the two ... you can actually still feel the split.

I choose the Aqua Palace as a special stay for our anniversary. The hotel met all our expectations. The rooms are luxurious. We got a room with a beautiful view of the canal. The breakfast is excellent. This is one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The only complaint is that the bed and pillows were hard. Highly recommended for special occasions.

Great location, booked double room got twin, assured would be made into double but still waiting 2nd night (not great attention to detail), but standard very high, lovely breakfast, beautiful room, clean and well thought out 😊

My husband and I recently visited Venice for 3 nights for our anniversary and stayed at the Aqua Palace hotel. We booked a canal view room (105) and it was beautiful, really spacious with a huge bathroom! The hotel kindly left a complimentary bottle of fizz in our room upon our arrival which was a nice touch. It is in a really convenient location, within easy walking distance of both the Rialto bridge and St. Mark’s square. The staff were really friendly and helpful and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation (Osteria Ae Sconte). Sylvia in particular at breakfast was so pleasant and attentive and always remembered our drinks order! Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for 4 nights in January 2017. We absolutely loved our stay at Aqua Palace. The hotel is beautiful, cosy and luxurious, yet affordable. It is in a very pretty part of Venice, looking onto a canal. We found the staff to be very kind and thoughtful, particularly a lady who served breakfast. On the first day we discovered a little seating area at the canal entrance where we could have a cigarette. This wonderful lady brought our coffee out there to us every morning which we did not expect, and thoroughly enjoyed as we could watch the various service boats going about their morning business. I would definitely return here in the future.

I stayed here for two nights with my sister-in-law and we couldn’t be happier. The room was beautiful, large and airy with a fantastic view down the canal, the reception staff were so helpful and Sylvia the breakfast host was wonderful. The location was perfect, nice and quiet but an easy 5 minute walk to St Marks and the Rialto Bridge - I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Venice

Took us ages to find the Hotel, but once we had we were delighted. Small but beautifully decorated. Hotel Staff very friendly & helpful. Room was stunning We celebrated a special Wed Anniversary & a bottle of bubbly was in our room to welcome us. Plenty of choice for breakfast & served by the lovely Silvia. She spoilt us on the day with glass bubbly & strawberries. Sadly no tea or coffee making facilities in room, we do love to start the day with a cup of tea. Also no evening meals but there are plenty of restaurants near by. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff at Aqua Palace Hotel.
