Vancouver is expensive. We're not luxury travelers or fussy ones. So a chance to grab a nice clean comfortable room at a good location and a great price was just what we needed. We took one night but extended it. Nice location. We parked the car and took the 106 bus right at the corner, to the Edmonds train station, and whisked downtown. Staff explained transit system in very simple terms. Tell the driver you're going to buy a day pass at the station, and he lets you ride free. It worked. We're glad we left the car behind. Room was very clean and comfy. Don't expect much from the Fitness room. It's very sparse. Breakfast was sparse also. Just store donuts and toast. But I'd stay again.

Very old furnishings. I think the stove was from the 1940s. No water on arrival. Laundry room never was open as promised. Maid entered room even with do not disturb sign on door.

low cost hotel, clean and good for a short stay. parking included and Wifi. I have absolutely no complaints. I would come back again

We didnt need some extra hotel for this trip, and this was ok hotel like motel 6! Don't expect to much, but it is clean! Staff is nice! Wi-fi is free. There is no smoking in this hotel.

The "Happy Day Inn" motel was located in good and quiet area with a free parking lot. The staff was friendly and knew the best attractions to visit in British Columbia. There were very few places in the vicinity to eat a meal and the hotel did not have a dining room. It is okay enough for the price I will come back and stay at this hotel/motel.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, good wifi and nice tv with cable. Continental breakfast was weak as far as continental type breakfasts go. Location feels a bit isolated, not much nearby but it is on a bus route that will get you to the skytrain in 10 min. Overall not a bad value if you're not paying more than 70 bucks a night.

Ste staff was super friendly and helpful. Kitchen in room with frige was a bargain for us. Location near many wonderful places to eat and shop for the out of the ordinary. We really enjoyed our stay.

If you are looking for a high quality hotel this is not it, but the beds were comfortable and the hotel was easy to find. What was outstanding was the staff at the hotel. I had a problem with my car and they helped me out to get on my way. For the price, it was actually what I expected.

small but very clean room at a good price in a somewhat noisy neighbourhood

I wasn't expecting the Ritz. This place was chosen mainly because it was cheap, relatively close to my destination, and it was recommended to me. The inn is an older building, so it wasn't well appointed, nor was it in a classy part of town. It was clean and comfortable, if a little creepy at first. The a/c worked well, and the wi-fi was very good compared to slower speeds at more modern facilities. I couldn't hear any noise from the other rooms, but traffic noise outside was rather loud, although partially drowned out by the a/c. I would recommend this for a cheap one night stay in urban Vancouver/Burnaby.

Perfectly good room, clean, comfortable, friendly staff. They upgraded me to a kitchenette room for no extra charge. Free WiFi wasn't working at first, but they reset the router and then it was fine (a bit slow). Breakfast is basic, just coffee, juice and pastries. Not very convenient to central Vancouver, especially the West End. Lots of free parking. I didn't check out the exercise room or sauna; they're behind a locked door in the garage. I guess you can get the key from reception.

I attended a convention for one day and only spent the night. I should have asked for a 3 or 4 star motel as this one was small, cramped hallways and tired. But so was I and it was conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from convention site and I was just there to sleep. It was just ok

Small hotel typical for city suburbs. Breakfast with muffins and orange juice. Rooms clean and staff friendly.

checked in late, so never checked the fitness area or sauna, but the room was fine...comfie beds, very hot shower, then freebie continental breakie and gone. friendly staff and great price and location.
