This property is aged, not at all like the sparkly pictures. The lobby is tight. The rooms are extremely snug. New paint & carpet would be helpful. The pool area needs updating, too. A room with a kitchenette has a two burner electric cooktop, a small sink, normal hotel room refrigerator, microwave, some pots & pans, dishes & silverware. I wouldn't stay here again

Looked nice on the outside and in the lobby, the rooms definitely need an update. Smelled like urine in our room

Bed was uncomfortable. Everything Elsa was great. Good location

My only complaints were that there is (1)remodeling going on which makes for an ugly atmosphere, and (2) pillows that couldn't be shaped for comfort, and (3) the odor of Febreze to cover up evidence of cigarette smoking. All else was just fine.

Limited parking and poor access. The bathrooms and rooms were very small. I expected more considering the price we paid per night.

Orbitz said my total bill for two nights would be $269.42. and that is what the hotel charged and then added and extra $75.22 with out any explanation. I didn't notice the extra charge until I looked at my charges on line the next day.

It took the front desk man about 15 minutes to show up and by then there were about 10 people upset and waiting to check in. The hotel was okay but not anything special. The rooms are okay. I would not recommend this hotel simply because there are so many others that are better to choose from and the front desk men where not very helpful or knowledgable. I paid through Expedia so therefore I didn't get the exchange rate which would have been great! It's about $.60 to the $1.00 right now. There is a definite lack of parking.

Nice hotel. Newer but noisy. You hear everything there. Good for the price and convenient. I would recommend this hotel again. Breakfast is good. Staff friendly.

Overall it is a decent hotel. Room is quite spacious. I like that it is very close to peace arch, only about a 10 min drive. Stayed here the night before going down to the states. They have free breakfast from 6:30-9:30 but i did not wake up in time. Housekeep can be better. There was a tiny blood stain on the far left corner of my duvet and a piece of short hair on the other side.

The overall experience was good...the continential breakfast was nothing to drual over could add some ummff to it....also the gym could be opened a bit earlier like 6am instead of 7am...but the positive the customer service was great, the staff very friendly& the beds were comfortable & lots of pillows...lloovveeddd tht!!! overall I would reccommend to others, staff was nice and rooms clean...it was a good weekend :D

went to the hotel for overnight stay while i have to fix my papers at the border.the staff were nice but as soon as the fire alarm wet on in our room, i was expecting them to check rightaway but they didnt offer any explanation or anything.

Although it's not the Ritz, this hotel was clean and comfortable and a solid three star hotel. It is located within a few miles of the border so it is a great hotel to stop at when driving up from the US, particularly if you are arrivng in the evening. It's about 25 miles from Vancouver so it could be used as a base for day trips, but if you are looking to stay within the thick of city excitement, you are better off staying elsewhere. It is close to the ferry port so for us arriving in the evening and leaving in the morning for Victoria was convenient. The hotel was quiet, with friendly staff, and modern appointments, including a flat screen tv. Free parking and free internet are bonuses. There is also a free continental breakfast and coffee in the lobby, modest to say the least, but complimentary so who can complain. Also included in the room, a small frig and microwave. Several 'chain' type restaurants were within driving distance.
