Rooms were clean. Needed some repairs but everything worked. Slept well with no issues. Road noise during day but there is easy access to roads. Restaurants in easy driving distances. Staff were very professional and friendly.

Took forever for someone to come to the office and check us in. The place is run down. Mold on the ceiling in bathroom, mold on shower curtain. Bed was hard as a rock.

The room was really run down. The peep hole had tissue stuffed in it, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The office was a complete mess. The whole place is run down.

Never Again

It was horrible. The first time we got put into an incomplete room with wires hanging from the walls and from the ceiling in the bathroom and there was spiderwebs and all the corners with a black widow spider in one of them I didn’t seem very clean at all tons of cracking in the walls paint chipping was extremely horrible. Also was not safe. We did get another room the next day but it wasn’t much better.

I don’t even know what to say about this hotel. I guess when I reserved a room for $59 in Tyler, Texas I should have known what to expect. The lobby that is shown in the pictures on Expedia doesn’t exist. You walk into this tiny little storage room with old unplugged, broken vending machines and you have to go up to a window to slide your ID and credit card in. The door does not have the extra top lock latch. The room was not fully supplied with towels. There were spiderwebs everywhere, stains everywhere, one of the lamps didn’t have a lightbulb in it and the lamp that did have a lightbulb in it flipped upside down and hung from the wall. I was going to just forfeit the money and go stay somewhere else but it’s the only place in that area. If you’re staying in Tyler Texas, maybe stay in Tyler proper. Even if you think this is the only thing you can afford if you can scrape together an extra 30 or $40 to stay in a decent motel that’s what I would have done had I known. The only reason I didn’t leave is because we were packed for a road trip and had our own sleeping bags and we were able to lay that on the bed so we didn’t have to touch the sheets. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. One good thing is that the air-conditioning was cold. So it was slightly better than camping on the dirt outside.
