My fiancé and I stayed here just as an over night stay. It was wonderful & clean. We got in late (10pm) but they held our room and said they typically do till 3am. Also the shower was amazing; good water pressure and heat. The bed was a little firm for my taste but definitely sleepable. I would stay here again and probably will whenever I am in the area. No complaints from this guest.
We used our points as Diamond members to stay 3 nights while working Texas for business. Hotel is spotless, quiet, and full of amenities. Brand new treadmill in fitness room, and a complimentary pass to the fitness center across the street. Wonderful hotel! I need to share something important: On saturday March 4, I accidently left my car key on the black bench outside the hotels far entrance. Single black key fob, on a black bench. I didn't notice until we were on our way to lunch and couldn't find the car key. I retraced my steps and didn't find the key. I went to front desk and asked if anyone had turned it in. THANK GOODNESS someone did! I asked who? And the desk person told me the maintenance man found the key. So thankful! I then went into the elevator with a maintenance man and asked if he was the one who found my key. He said yes, it was him. I thanked him sincerely and shook his hand. Telling him that we are from Ohio! A long way from home and that's our only key. I thanked him for his honesty..and looked me in the eye and said you're welcome mam, God Bless. His name is JESUS. Didn't get his last name, but I want the hotel manager and owner to know what an honest, hardworking, keen employee they have in Jesus. We are so thankful for a wonderful stay, and thankful for a kind, honest man. The world needs more people like Jesus!
Stayed here for an overnight business trip to Tyler midweek and really enjoyed it. Hotel appears to be fairly new or recently renovated. It's in a great location which is walking distance to shops and many restaurants. It is also walking distance to both a gym and running/walking/biking trails you have access to during your stay. I took advantage of the trails due to the nice weather and got in a nice long run. The trails are paved and wind through parks and around neighborhoods. Will definitely stay here again when in town. Only complaint I have is a minor one and that is that the what looked to be brand new walk in showers that are huuge don't have a platform to put your soap/shampoo/etc on so you have to place those items on the floor. Fix that and this place is 5 star.
I was on my way home from visiting my mother in Texas Hospital ICU ... and after 12 days of sitting by her bedside I was extremely worn out and tired. As a senior woman traveling alone ... I look for a place that feels safe, secure and welcoming. Next ... I want it to smell fresh, be clean and look inviting. The Sleep Inn in Tyler Texas was all that and more. The staff was friendly, helpful and kind. My room was spacious, pretty and clean. My bed was comfortable with nice pillows and linens. All in all ... I slept great and rested well for the rest of my journey.
We love this hotel and stay there several times a year. It is consistently very clean and the staff is great! The breakfast is good with eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, waffles, yogurt, cereal and much more. The hotel has a pool and gym, and it's close to shopping and restaurants. I travel with my 97-year-old mother and the staff is extremely accommodating! Love, love this hotel.
After a little misunderstanding with GPS, we arrived at the hotel! A nice facility off the beaten path and yet easy to get to! Good parking for the bus. Staff was very friendly, very accommodating. Very nice breakfast. Great value. Gladly stay here again..on my own or with a group!
I dislike hotels that are smack on noisy highways, and much prefer facilities that are near thoroughfares but off them a bit. The Sleep Inn Tyler is located on what amounts to a loop street behind a large shopping center fronting on South Broadway. You can walk or drive numbers of places in a few minutes, but there is no traffic noise. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The inn was clean and inviting. The room size was appropriate, and with the exception of the jet-propelled toilet was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The short pillows took a little getting used to, but I slept OK on them. Breakfast was very good. My wife and I were impressed with the attention to detail and would stay here again.
I really like this hotel , the staff is very friendly and quick to check you in. T the rooms are quiet , very comfortable , decent coffee in the room and a decent little breakfast in the morning. the only small problem ,, they could upgrade the shampoo, the elevator is a little slow.
This is a really nice place for a stay in Tyler. The staff was just great and everyone was pleasant and personable. My room was clean and tidy and comfortable. I had some clothes to wash in the guest laundry and the laundry area was clean and the machines worked properly. The grounds were very well kept and the area around the property just off the main street and quiet, but very close to whatever one might need which is what I wanted for my stay.
They always have a nice clean room and a great breakfast. 1 block off Broadway and close to several new shopping centers there movie theater, and more restaurants than you can believe. Plus they have a nice helpful staff it's just good place to just get away.
