No fees for pets and allowing two small dogs was a plus.
Staff was extremely nice and helpful for restaurants near the area. Facility itself was clean, except nasty smell when the hall doors were closed at night. I can only assume that is why both end hall doors were propped open. The heat coming through made it hard for the rooms to cool down at night which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Hall door at lower end of 600 numbers would not allow entry with key card after it was closed. Extremely nice to share the pool with the Best Western in front of you.
The face towels we're supposed to be white but they were so the engine they were actually Brown. The chair and ottoman where ripped and Staind. I put a towel to cover both before I sit in it. The overall building need a repair and upgrade. I will not be staying there again
First room I was assigned had urine on the toilet seat and around the rim. Second room was hot and after 1-1/2 hours, it still was not cooling. Third room the A/C didn't work at all, except as a fan to blow the hot air around. I packed up and told the staff I want a refund and went and found another hotel.
We were there for a motorcycle rally. The MS region rally for GWRRA. The room was comfortable. Was not real thrilled at first when we found our room was directly behind the elevator but it turned out to be quieter than expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Tupelo except for the cold.
