The AC unit didnt work on day one stay, faucet head in the bathroom sink leaked badly,poor selection of the TV channel were very poor, they used too much bleach when cleaned, it was room 156 that i was in, i will never ever stay at motel 6 Tupelo ever

Floor was filthy dirty, unswept/vacuumed or mopped, toilet was dirty, found long hairs in my bed under the covers & roaches on wall & floor, I was in from Chicago for Social Work Workshop. I did report it. I had no time to seek other accommodations. If I did, I’d have left. Terribly disgusted!

I would take this motel off your choice. This place was so gross. Did not clean room at all, toothpaste in sink, dirty toilet, countertop dirty, stains on sheets and comforter. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

The staff helped us fix a mixup with the booking. Accidentally booked a smoking room, and Hotels.com wouldn't allow me to change, and no Hotels.com agents would respond. The hotel staff worked around it and moved us to a non-smoking room at no charge!

The guy at the desk was super friendly. The room smelled strongly like old musty laundry that was forgotten in the washer but I was exhausted and just wanted a shower and to lay down. After getting in the tub I noticed a bug on the ceiling, when I got out and looked around the room there were ALOT of bugs on the ceiling and around the window and dead ones on the floor. It was stink bugs and I looked them up and they dont bite or bother people. With me being ready to sleep and fresh from the bath with my things scattered everywhere, I wasnt worried about asking for another room. Towels were all clean but very stained. Bed slept well. Next morning I told the front desk guy about the bugs and showed pictures and he said a field behind the property had been sprayed which sent all the bugs to the motel, but they had also sprayed and thats why there were dead ones. Since I didnt ask for another room even after the smell and bugs, I didnt feel like I should press for a refund or anything. Overall I had a place to crash and thats what I needed.
