The front desk staff was superb. The room was very clean and partially updated. There was a hint of cigarette smoke in the room, but I suspect that was in the walls from many years ago. We wish there would have been a skinny table/desk instead of the short line ottoman. That would have been more useful. Maybe something to think about in future updates. The location was beautiful. It is right on the beach with outdoor furniture available to enjoy the relaxing sound of water . Breakfast was not great but we are not big breakfast eaters so it worked for us (single serve cereals, fruit, yogurt and a couple of hot options). Will definitely be back.

The front desk was friendly and helpful, the person who checked us out was also pleasant. The outside area was very attractive with a pretty garden and colorful furniture- great beach vibe! We had a fabulous view, which could not have been beaten and considering the price we paid, we could not have been happier with the place. Would certainly go there again.

We liked the place and plan on coming back next year. The only problem we encountered is when i was trying to call the front desk no one was answering. Called more than 10 times and even expedia customer service called no one answers. We were running a little behind with our ETA and an answer from front desk would really help. Other than that place is nice and breakfast is good

This little Beach Inn is just perfect for a quiet getaway! Has a gorgeous beach with plenty of seating and a fire pit. The staff is extremely friendly. They have fresh baked cookies for you when you check in. A nice hot breakfast that is included with your stay. This is our dedicated place to stay when we travel to Traverse City!!

My husband and I enjoyed a four day stay at the Brio. We had a queen bed room, and it was quite small. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The view of Grand Traverse Bay, from outside our room, was beautiful. My only complaint is the hot breakfast items were the same every day we were there The staff were very friendly and helpful re: places to eat and directions.

This is a little treasure! It's very tidy, with lovely beach front seating. They had a nice little breakfast, and a very friendly staff. Excellent accommodations for a very reasonable price!

Very good spot right on the lake

Loved that it was right on the lake. They allow you to have fires and it’s 24 access. The hotel room itself is a bit outdated but it was still cute. Only problem I had was with the cleaners, there was still someone else’s food in the fridge left in there. Overall a good spot to stay in though, minutes from downtown traverse.

Great price for such a nice beach. Location is not walkable to downtown and the road is busy and not walkable to anything but hotel bars and restaurants. Rooms are small and floor is not super clean. They need to scrub the corners. Cookies in lobby but not offered one. Breakfast is supposed to have sandwiches but there isn’t any when we got there and we weren’t too late. Coffee should not be in the corner. It’s just too congested in the morning. Overall, great value because of the beach and it’s great price in the off season on a beautiful week.

Although the rooms are pretty small, the property's outdoor amenities filled that gap perfectly. We very much enjoyed the gazibo and the beach campfires. The staff was exceptional!
