The jetted tubs that are advertised are chipped, pealing paint. The paint gets in the water and gets in your hair and all over your body. It seems this should be a health and safety risk for this. It was loud as well at night. There was popcorn and chuckie cheese things that I had to clean up from previous guests. This is not a place I will return to.
Pet friendly hot tub ... the end
Great dog property
We were charged for an in room hot tub that was not usable. It was all cracked and extremely rough surface. It was very disappointing and misleading. It should not be marketed that way if it cannot be used. It also has an extremely strong smell of some sort of cleaner through the whole place. Will not stay again.
Really needs some upgrades. Could also hear the people next to us pretty clearly.
Very friendly staff
It was near local attractions. The building needs to be updated for the price of each stay to feel justified.
Pain peeling in bathroom and bathtub floor and walls deteriorating.
Location was great. WiFi service was not available for me for 5 days. Pricing from orbitz was not accurate. Supposed to be $79 per day. They charge $170 the first day. Room was dirty. Everyday the coffee was cool, not hot. Had to warm it up in the microwave. No newspaper. There was a major construction project going on next door. Construction crews started some days before 7 am. The breakfast bar was very uninviting.
There was a loud fight out in the parking lot during the night. The rooms were OK but reflect what you pay for in a hotel. Low rates is low quality and small size rooms.
Loved that our hot tub room had the added feature of a fireplace! So comfy and great ambiance. It was nice to have an outdoor entry to our room.
Location is great.Very quiet visit. Neighbor was a little annoying. But to be expected sometimes.
It's a good place to stay for cheap and to get access to the Traverse City/Leelanau area without breaking your bank. Amenities and cleanliness are fine, just the condition of some things are aged and outdated and it shows, like the tubs and showers. Fitness equipment in the gym is pretty cheap. Really wish the hotel would provide filtered water like with a big jug in a hallway or at drinking fountains (for us to fill bottles with since COVID restrictions doesn't really let you drink directly from fountains). Beds are comfy and haven't had an issue with bedbugs here ever. I stay here every year when I visit the area and will continue to do so.
Did not like the broken vending machine (pop machine) took our money yet no coke came out. Other guest in motel were drunk and disorderly allowed in by management. Then they broke the elevator stranding us on the third floor. Then we had to carry our luggage down three flights of stairs with no help from motel staff. Very disappointed would not recommend this motel.
