The Carpet is old and smells mold I found a spider in the bathroom. The breakfast is bad even the fruit are old and couldn't eat them.the orange juices from the machine seems they mix it with water doesn't taste as regular OJ. I ended up going to Tim hortons to get my breakfast.I paid around 210$per night and I asked them if they have a disposable toothbrush they said sorry u have to buy it !!!!!😡seriously the manger was very rude, and he denied that there is mold smell in the room. I would never ever go back there again.
I went a lot of times to that hotel but this is probebly the last time I will go there. This hotel need a big clean up. The carpet are old and smell the dust. I got small black bugs in my room at 2 times. I told the manager went I check out and he was kind to me. They gave me bonus IHG points. This hotel should be renovated. I went to other Staybridge and this one is not the best. The quality of the food is also bad. Impossible to get a smile from the employee working at the breakfast and diner. We don't feel to be appreciate. I don't thing this hotel have the standing of IHG. Major renovation shoulb be done. You can get better for the price in this area. Every time I went there I did the same comment and nothing change.
Average hotel, older, needs a lot of updating. Bathrooms are small with limited lighting. Noisy hallways. Limited parking spaces, only 2 handicap spaces. Breakfast fair at most, floors were sticky. Air conditioning not cold.
Would not recommend anyone to stay here. Staff is unice, great amenities, but everything is old and dirty. No tv remote which was replaced after a call to front desk, sponge provided in kitchen was without wrapper unsure if used or not, given 1/4 bottle of dish soap, used from who knows. Kitchen towels and bath towels looked old and dirty. Floors carpet furniture are pretty beat up with stains. Curtains are ripped so we use pillows to cover light conning in from parking lot. Shower drain backs up.
Suite was pretty big and kitchen was equipped, parking was free. Front desk guy was not friendly at all (didn't get his name) very rude and very unprofessional. On my 3rd night, I asked for some new towels, they made me wait for a very long time. Also, bathroom was clean, but the toilet bowl was pretty smelly. The location is good as it is close to the airport, shopping mall, restaurants and a movie theatre. Housekeeping personel don't know to smile, nor say good morning back to you, so I stopped saying hi and smiling at them after my first night, must be a thing for them.
Stayed here for three days on a business trip to Toronto. Its maybe a 10 minute taxi ride from Pearson Airport and has a couple other hotels close by. It was early Jan, so it was cold but the lobby had a nice warm fire upon entry. Check-in was smooth and quick. My room was easy to get to, very clean and spacious with kitchenette. There was a full desk with High Speed internet and a comfortable sofa in the living area. Bed was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was not cramped at all. There is an OK complimentary breakfast, nightly event dinner specials in the lobby or grill and a restaurant right next door. This is a good place to relax on a business trip.
The hotel is very good, comfortable and clean. Staff is very kind, but the breakfast is terrible. Few options for fruit, bread... I really miss some good bread and fruits. Juice was not good too. But is a good place to sleep, very calm.
I'm pretty sure I slept on a bed that was not cleaned since the last visitor. It stunk. After 3 days, they swapped with clean sheets and that's when the smell went away on the pillows. GROSS!!! It says on a sign that they only do "light tidying/cleaning" except for once a week, but that they should do a full clean between customers. But I'm sure this is prone to mistakes as there were 2 Queen beds per room. I'll never stay here again (or any other Staybridge Suites, for that matter) as I never want this to happen again.
I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip, joined by my family for the second night. The layout here works very well. A seperated bedroom with 2 beds and a kitchen/sitting room. The beds are comfortable and it is nice to have a seperated lounge area. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is a bit remote, but the airport is only 15 minutes drive, as is Mississauga centre.
I was here for 11 nights on a business trip. This was the second time I stayed here in 3 months. The place is decent and in a good area. Close to Courtney Park with lots of restaurants and places to drink. The rooms are a little dated but still clean. The pillows need to be replaced because all 4 of them are flat once you put your head on them. The elevator is SLOW and you tend to wait. Sometimes the stairs are faster. They have free breakfast in the morning. Typical Holiday Inn Express/Staybridge Suites breakfast. But not bad. They also have dinner three nights during the week. However I did not partake. They have a pool but no hot tub. It was cemented over years ago. They also have a typical hotel fitness area. The one thing I had an issue with was the business center. It's free but they have Compaq Presarios. To be honest, I did not think Compaq was in business and the presario is old. It was also slow. I just needed to print one document. It was so slow I gave up. I think they need to invest $1500 to 2000 and buy a couple of new Dells. Otherwise, there was always coffee on in the lobby, and I had a kitchenette and couch in the studio. I would recommend the room to others.
