Stayed here for three days on a business trip to Toronto. Its maybe a 10 minute taxi ride from Pearson Airport and has a couple other hotels close by. It was early Jan, so it was cold but the lobby had a nice warm fire upon entry. Check-in was smooth and quick. My room was easy to get to, very clean and spacious with kitchenette. There was a full desk with High Speed internet and a comfortable sofa in the living area. Bed was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was not cramped at all. There is an OK complimentary breakfast, nightly event dinner specials in the lobby or grill and a restaurant right next door. This is a good place to relax on a business trip.
The hotel is very good, comfortable and clean. Staff is very kind, but the breakfast is terrible. Few options for fruit, bread... I really miss some good bread and fruits. Juice was not good too. But is a good place to sleep, very calm.
I'm pretty sure I slept on a bed that was not cleaned since the last visitor. It stunk. After 3 days, they swapped with clean sheets and that's when the smell went away on the pillows. GROSS!!! It says on a sign that they only do "light tidying/cleaning" except for once a week, but that they should do a full clean between customers. But I'm sure this is prone to mistakes as there were 2 Queen beds per room. I'll never stay here again (or any other Staybridge Suites, for that matter) as I never want this to happen again.
I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip, joined by my family for the second night. The layout here works very well. A seperated bedroom with 2 beds and a kitchen/sitting room. The beds are comfortable and it is nice to have a seperated lounge area. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is a bit remote, but the airport is only 15 minutes drive, as is Mississauga centre.
I was here for 11 nights on a business trip. This was the second time I stayed here in 3 months. The place is decent and in a good area. Close to Courtney Park with lots of restaurants and places to drink. The rooms are a little dated but still clean. The pillows need to be replaced because all 4 of them are flat once you put your head on them. The elevator is SLOW and you tend to wait. Sometimes the stairs are faster. They have free breakfast in the morning. Typical Holiday Inn Express/Staybridge Suites breakfast. But not bad. They also have dinner three nights during the week. However I did not partake. They have a pool but no hot tub. It was cemented over years ago. They also have a typical hotel fitness area. The one thing I had an issue with was the business center. It's free but they have Compaq Presarios. To be honest, I did not think Compaq was in business and the presario is old. It was also slow. I just needed to print one document. It was so slow I gave up. I think they need to invest $1500 to 2000 and buy a couple of new Dells. Otherwise, there was always coffee on in the lobby, and I had a kitchenette and couch in the studio. I would recommend the room to others.
I want to first say that I could not have asked for a nicer staff. However I will not use this hotel again. The beds are terribly hard and uncomfortable. Several of the pillows on the bed smelled "unclean". Also there were strange noises in the room. Made it really hard to sleep. I came back to the room to find that the bathroom had not been completely cleaned. The offered food seemed "cheap" and tasteless. I gave the two stars for the staff.
This stay has been wonderful and quiet! Love the fact that laundry use is free and on site. Great water pressure in the shower. Very important!! Been a very relaxing stay. Friendly staff. Clean too! Chose opposite road side.
Quick easy check-in Room was ok, but the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were very odd. Not sure how else to describe them. There was a dog or dogs in another room that barked most of the night. When attempting to call reception the phone didn't work.
Super staff - very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating!! Clean, comfortable rooms. All are mini suites with fully equipped kitchenettes. Free WiFi, free parking, pool, exercise room, business centre and the coffe/tea is always on. Close to a mall of restaurants- every chain you can think of practically- lots of variety. Simply a lovely hotel, which we've visited several times and will continue to.
My wife and me are really enjoyed every thing there. We liked the social dinner, Breakfast, good space of the normal suit, car parking and all detailed features available in the hotel. thanks for all staff :)
