The hotel was in poor condition: it was not clean, the building needs renovation, and the floors were dirty. The room also had an unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, I was charged a significant amount without my consent. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

We stay at numerous hotels throughout the year and are not ones to complain; however, we felt it was important to share our recent experience. To begin with a positive note, the staff at both check-in and check-out were friendly and pleasant, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, there were several areas of concern during our stay that we believe warrant your attention: • The hotel appeared to be generally unclean. The ceiling outside our room was leaking, and despite notifying the front desk, no action was taken. We placed our garbage bin under the leak to prevent the floor from becoming wet. • There was visible mold underneath the wallpaper, which was lifting and exposed black mold on the walls. • The main comforter on the bed was stained with what appeared to be blood. When we requested a replacement, it took nearly an hour and three follow-ups at the front desk to receive the correct comforter. The first two replacements were not suitable (a small single blanket, then what appeared to be a crib sheet). • The carpets and floors, particularly in the hallways, were visibly dirty and stained, as were several of the walls. • The hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the hotel were empty, as were the sanitizing wipes in the gym. The gym’s water station also appeared to be empty or not functioning. • In the breakfast area, the containers covering the hot food, specifically the one holding sausages was cracked with a large hole, which did not appear sanitary.

We stayed here about a year ago and chose it again because of the airport shuttle, free breakfast and reasonable price. The shuttle took about an hour to get to us, but the driver was very pleasant and easy to deal with and let us know how long he would be. Check in was very easy and efficient. Front desk assisted us in finding late night food delivery. Breakfast every morning was good, with eggs and sausage as well as waffles and other typical continental options. The only thing missing was decaf coffee. There are some nice dining options in walking distance. Took the shuttle back to the airport to catch the UP Express to Union Station. Look forward to staying there again on our way back home.
