Older 2 storey "Motel" style in industrial (auto mall) area. Waited over 1 hour for pre-arranged pickup from Toronto Pearson Airport along with 6 other people. Driver drove inappropriately on major 401 highway ( not sure he as experienced.) (We were told driver did not get text from their office??) Halls had messy recarpeting, cleaners left cards blocking hallways, Bathrooms were in state of total disrepair, shelves falling off walls (barely pinned together with wooden pieces) , door damage not repaired. Beds had no comforters, cotton sheets only in winter, no blankets. heaters did work. Main floor had sliding glass doors which we fund open and unlocked (allowing for anyone to access from the exterior) and had only a minor bar barely holding it closed - not much security for ground floor rooms. No onsite food except for breakfast which was standard fair, but hot and fresh. (There were a couple restaurants Kelseys and Montanas) within walking distance but not easy in winter weather). Staff were not very welcoming or friendly at desk, felt a bit like customers were putting them out checking in or asking questions.(maybe new hires?) Not what we have expected from QUALITY INN hotels.
