We booked via Orbitz. Arrived at the property, the property was over booked and they sent us away. Called Orbitz to investigate and get refunded as this was not our fault. Response from Orbitz “ We would like to inform you that we have spoke with Extended Stay America - Toledo - Holland on your behalf. Please be advised that they decided to follow the terms and conditions of the booking and not issue a refund.” Ummm… not sure how that response is acceptable any way you look at it. I will now need to file a claim with the credit card company to get refunded. Ridiculous.
Friendly staff...clean property...exactly as listed, no more no less
A working tv is very important. Remote was dead. HVAC system was typical fry or freeze.
I only stayed for one night, but the staff person that checked me in and checked me out of my room were very nice. When I went to use a towel in the bathroom, a couple of them ha dust bunnies tucked into the folds... i just didnt use the towels
I asked for a non smoking room. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. That is my only real complaint. The grab and go breakfast was coffee and a pre-wrapped muffin or fruit..
I have stayed here several times now and am always very comfortable. It is clean, pleasant and provides the basics I need. The staff is VERY helpful, from my experience.
Of all the places I've stayed at,this is my favorite. It's been clean every time I've stayed. Nice convienient room. Plain, but convienient and clean. Good shower too!

Great location...easy to get in and out. Seemed liks a nice safe area, well lit, and secure. Room was nice but not great. Shower drain was slow. Nice little kitchen for the money. I'd stay there again.
Was able to register early on the way to the big game in Ann Arbor so we didn't have to register after the game which was after midnight. Decaf coffee in room or at least available at the desk would be nice. We brought some, but the coffee maker takes special size filter packs. Great location and a great room for a good price.
Great place to stay before or after a football game. Comfortable beds and rooms. Great to have the fridge and kitchenette.

We stop in Toledo on our way to Ann Abor for Michigan home football games, especially if they are a noon game. We just found ESA this season and have stayed there three times and now won't go anywhere else. It is great! Having the kitchenette and refrigerator and eating area make it such a relaxing and convenient experience.
Great experience! We travel to Ann Arbor to the Michigan home football games and this is a great place to spend the night prior. Room was spacious and clean. Priced right, too. Decaf coffee in the room would have been nice as my wife can't have caffeine. It is a bit difficult to find or get to. Better signage might help people locate them. We'll be back!
When we first got there everything was decent. The walls are very thin you can hear everything we could hear the the room next to us shower and everything. Then we had to change rooms because the tub was extremely clogged we actually left for the whole day and came back and the tub still had water clogged in it. The beds are uncomfortable!!
