I was disappointed for two reasons. One, I booked prior to the pool closing and I was not informed about it. If I would have known, I would have cancelled and booked elsewhere. The pool was the main thing that made me choose this hotel. The second reason was that we were not informed that we had to request the room to be serviced because they don’t do it daily. These things should be relayed to customers.

No pool until further notice
Overall was good. Nice service, good breakfast. But one of the reason I booked it was for the pool and it was out of service until further notice. It would be great know before reserve or at least have a discount in your reservation for the inconveniences.

The hotel is getting old and needs a renovation. Wallpaper was coming off at the seams. The carpet in the room needs better cleaning or replacement. The headboard of the bed was not clean. Breakfast was good.

We had reservations at another hotel, with a pool but when we were checking in we were told the pool was closed down. My son started making calls and found this hotel which also had our request for a room that had three beds (for 3 adults.)They also had an open pool PLUS a whirlpool. It was fantastic & breakfast was GREAT as well ❤️‼️

Overall, this is a decent hotel. The area is nice, and we felt safe. The overwhelming majority of the building was clean, with the only exception being our floor felt a bit dirty/sticky. The two main reasons I gave this hotel 3/5 stars are the bed and the breakfast. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. I woke up sore. The second thing was we were not told breakfast times when we checked in, and we thought it was 6-9. However, on the weekends it starts later. This was disappointing as we needed to leave early. We were waiting around for breakfast and could have just left had we known. The other two Hamptons we stayed in on our trip did not have these issues. In fact, the Hampton Inn we stayed at afterwards (still on a weekend day), had breakfast that opened at 6 and was open for an hour longer than usual (6-10) on the weekends.

The pool was closed so that was a bummer. The man at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond. I did notice that it doesn’t seem that the front desk is always manned. When we first arrived we had to wait around for over 15 minutes before we saw any employee. During that time we called the hotel to see if maybe someone would hear the phone and come help. No one answered. If the front desk employees are expected to be away from the desk to fulfill other duties it might be a good idea to give them a phone to carry with them. We had to call the front desk a few times and could never get a hold of anyone. Even in the rooms the phones in there didn’t have an option for the front desk. My biggest complaint and the only thing that I felt was a detriment to our stay was the woman working the breakfast room… she has absolutely no business working with people. I watched her be completely rude to ALL of the guests that dared ask her a question. One gentleman went to ask if there was more bread for Toast and she was sitting in the kitchen with her feet propped up and watching something on her phone. She was slamming things around and when another guest,not with my party, poked her head in to ask if there was more waffle batter, she slammed the door in her face!! She seemed completely annoyed to be there and wasn’t even good at keeping things stocked. There were comments from other guests I overheard that she was rude. Other than that, the stay was great.

Pool was closed and TV didn't work. Clerk apologized for pool and offered to move me to another room for the TV, but I was already settled in and didn't want to gather up my stuff. Have encountered the "pool closed" issue several times recently. So much so, that I'm starting to suspect it's a scam, i.e. advertise you have a pool, but keep it under "repair/renovations" so you don't need to deal with upkeep.
