10 minute walk from Shimbashi station through a bustling neighborhood. Lots of izakayas, rampant night life. The room is small, but perfect for a solo traveler looking for no frills hotel room. Bathroom has a slight odor, bathoom ceiling hatch was not locked and could peek your head through it. The hotel allows you to check out 11a, however, if you give them a hotel rating/review at check in, they will allow an additional hour to check out at 12p

Location was excellent - within 5-10 min walk to Shimbashi station. There are many convenience stores, restaurants and bars closeby. Plus side - area is not as busy as places like Shinjuku, Shibuya and Asakusa. Some may find it a little "seedier" than other neighborhoods frequented by travelers but if you come from a big city, it should not feel seedy at all. It definitely felt safer than the equivalent neighborhood back home in Canada. The hotel itself is pretty barebones but comfortable. I enjoyed the free coffee/tea in the lobby, and the concierge was friendly and helpful. The ensuite washer/dryer was incredibly useful. I strongly disliked the bed linens.

The rooms are as dense with amenities as possible, there's just enough room for everything EXCEPT your luggage. Both me and a friend were having pretty bad allergies inside, especially inside the bathroom?? it got better with the heater off and the windows open. Beds are pretty stiff if you like that. Can't comment on breakfast
