Location is very convenient, around 3-5 minutes walk from the Gotanda station, and many restaurants around, convenience store right at the ground floor of the hotel. The room is very nice and comfortable with all the amenities you need. Love the hot bath at the top floor, especially the outdoor one. Really relaxing spot after a long day.
Stayed 4 nights and this is a very new and clean hotel in a great location, 3 minute walk from Gotanda station (Yamanote line - free with the JR pass) and close to Shinagawa (and Tokyo) - for Bullet trains and to Hamamatsucho for the monorail to Haneda, as well as the night life at Shinjuku and Shibuya. There is also a great food store right by the station ( pastries were excellent and very cheap). The room was average size and had all you need including a table and 2 x chairs and fridge with free bottles of water daily. Kettle and coffee/tea. The bathroom is a little compact with a bath/shower over. Reception and terrace on the 15th Floor with Japanese Onsen on the top floor (16th). We had a room only rate and did not dine in the restaurant at all. we would have tried breakfast but found the menu a little off putting. So we had all we required from the foodstore every morning, fresh fruit, pastries etc. Would stay here again if in Tokyo, without hesitation.
Very comfortable hotel, perfectly located! Very close to JR line Gotanda station, you can reach very easily all touristy locations! The room is a bit small for European standard but more than on for Tokyo. Everything you need in the room including PJ's Try the Onsen on the top floor for a Japanese experience
we sent 9 days in this Hotel, close to the JR Gotanda station. When arriving from Tokyo, Shinagawa enter in the last car of the Yamanote train, and then up the stairs. This saves carriying your suitcases across the street. Rooms are small, like most in Tokyo. Breakfast was more suited for Asians, but we found enough for our European taste.
Excellent hotel, well located near jr yamanote line. All comfort available. Bkfst strange combination of japanese/western food ( french fries at bfst!) good coffee. Only downside is that bkfst is the same every day ...l One would expect to have some degree of varation in the food presented.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this Hotel. It is located in a more quieter location, very close to train station, a supermarket and a lot of restaurants within walking distant. Staff is friendly and efficient. Probably the only thing to comment is on the breakfast selection and variation especially when you are staying more than 2 days like us. Anyway you can grab something outside nearby
The hotel opened a few minutes walk from Gotanda Station. Both facilities and services are of higher quality than hotels in the same price range. It is an image of a slightly superior hotel-type inn located in a hot spring area. The reception is very smooth. room design is also efficient. The staff also received an impression that they are well educated. It would be nice to be at the lounge in front of the reception desk while watching the view of Tokyo. Although I did not expect much, I could use the rooftop open-air bath very comfortably because it was a cold season.
Tokyu Store supermarket inside Remy shopping mall with endless selection of snacks and fresh fruit. We really enjoy buying things and eat in the park nearby the hotel. Size of the room consider enough for two specially for Tokyo size. Staff is very helpful and friendly though they don’t speak English that fluent but you can really see they try their best to assist.
We stayed here for 7 nights. Everything was perfect; our room was clean, beautiful and comfortable, staff members were just amazing. Almost everyone speaks English in this hotel. Location, is the best; literally next to a JR station. This means with a JR pass travel to and from the hotel is a breeze. You have a 7/11 and a Lawson just next door. Really good tea and coffee provided in the room. Sound proofing is amazing. Hopefully we get to go back there again. TIP: If it is your first time in Tokyo, trust me , you do not want to stay close to one of the big stations. Instead, pick a location like Gotanda.
Hotel is just about 3 minutes walk from Gotanda Station. Our taxi ride from Haneda airport cost about 4,890 yen plus 760 yen luggage fee which was not too bad considering the hands free luggage companies may charge more than 2,600 yen for 1 bag. We could take the Yamanote line from Gotanda Station easily. Instead of walking up the stairs, we could take the lift at Remy shopping mall up to the 4th floor which connects to the train station. I appreciated that the station is not too big so it's easier to navigate than Shinjuku station, and there's a lift so we could bring our stroller quite easily. The area has a lot of restaurants but is not too crowded or busy, though morning and evening rush hour can be bad and the train pretty packed if you come out at the wrong time. There's a lawson within the hotel building which had noodles in bowls the shop could reheat for you, has breads and milk etc, but the 7-11 across the street was better stocked. Remy had a supermarket with a dizzying selection of sushi, pasta, baked goods, cut fruit and dairy products, so it's a good idea to stop by before retiring to your hotel room (they're only open around 9am I think). There's also a pharmacy, a starbucks and a few restaurants within Remy. The udon restaurant was pretty good! They had kids meals too. The room was a bit of a squeeze for me but I'm told it's already large by Tokyo standards. It was clean, bed was comfy, and the hairdryer was very good by hotel standards! Pretty powerful, felt like buying the same hairdryer model! We got a view of the train tracks so that kept my kid occupied. The only downside to staying so close to the train station was that I could hear the trains passing by. There's a playground nearby the hotel too, by the river. The staff were very helpful and courteous. One lady saw us off to our taxi and bowed as we left, they really took care of us. Will definitely recommend.
