Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Nihombashi Hakozaki

The location is formidable: Few meters from the Tokyo Air Terminal, metro/subway station, and stores. Although the room is small, is very clean, full of amenities, HD TV, electronic toilet, splendid shower, and in average, excellent attention of personnel. Through the subway you are close to Asakusa, Skytree, Imperial Gardens, and much more. I would go back to the hotel again.

This hotel really is a great stay and great location. My husband and I had no idea what to expect, the room is small but that is common in Tokyo. We were overall pleased with everything from cleanliness to staff service. The staff spoke broken English but they truly put a lot of effort into helping us with all our questions. I would definitely stay here again and refer this place to any friends and family. This hotel is in the business location of Tokyo but we were able to travel to all our tourist destination with ease.

nice stuff..the breakfast is ok. theres a subway station and convenience store near hotel. But one thing is not that closed to tokyo.

I have booked and asked a non-smoking room more than 10 days before arriving hotel , but they didn't provide it. For this, i feel very disappointed due to i'm a girl alone. Besides, people only can use wi-fi in the lobby, not very convenient.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Fantastic assistance at all times for everything you could want. Very clean and tidy. Will stay again.

The room was quite small but served its purpose. I was in Tokyo just for the night, the bed was comfortable and water very hot for shower. Did not try breakfast as had to depart early.

It's an average hotel, rooms are pretty clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is good and varied (main dish and the soup change every day). Room was small, but that's normal for Tokyo. Location is very convenient, close to public transportation, with direct lines to Narita, and a whole bunch of good dining options around. Stayed here for 6 nights and all in all it was a good experience.

Really enjoyed our experience. The hotel is located in a traditional area of Tokyo where there are not many tourists and the price are lower than in the popular areas such as Shibuya, Ginza, etc. Nice sushi restaurant around. 2 subway station really near which is convenient given the size of the city which requires a lot of subway transportation. Also, the breakfast is nice with a lof of different stuff ( soup, salade, bread, croissant, sausage, etc) Room tiny but extra clean. Great staff really helpful with everything! Would stay there again and recommend greatly the hotel!

Room was small but is good for sleeping. Hotel is within walking distance to a lot of shopping. Night walking is lacking, unless you like bar hopping. Language is hard at times to communicate to all people in Japan. Do all you research and make lots of note and printout everything.

Typical Japanese hotel with small rooms but excellent location next to Suitengumae subway and another train station less than 1/2 mile away. The subway also happens to be the Tokyo City Airport Terminal so a bus ride from the airport brings you to the terminal, four minutes walk to the hotel! Staff are friendly and very helpful at giving directions. Breakfast included. All in all great value for money.

The hotel itself is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast service was delicious. There is a train station (Suitengumae) at a minute walk.It is a great place to stay if you go there for business although not as a tourist. For a tourist, the hotel is located too far from the interesting places in Tokyo (such as Shibuya, Ueno, Shimokitazawa, Shinjuku, Yoyogi park, etc.) and as the train closes at 12 (they literally kick you out of the train if it's after 12!!) and taxis are expensive, you have to be organised and be back before the train system stops or you have to stay all night at a bar until the train starts (it's not a bad option if you like partying...) or stay in "love hotels" for the night. Another thing I'd like to say is that it had WIFI only at the lounge and LAN connection in the rooms which is good only if you have a laptop but not a smart phone or an I pad.

The hotel is located in 1 minute walk distance from the airport bus station for Narita and Haneda, and the Suitengu subway station of Hanzomon line that directs you to the Otemachi hub station of multiple subway lines. It is very convienient to travel around the central Tokyo. Also the area where the hotel is located is old downtown where you see lots of traditional stuff such as shrine, authentic restaurants/shops that are around from a hundred years ago. The room was clean thought it may be a bit small if you have a big suite case. It would be great if they have in-room WIFI.

The room was small (as expected) but has everything you need. It is located right next to the TCAT station which makes going from and to the airport extremely easy. It is also close to 3 subway stations. The hotel staff are friendly and speak English. Overall we are very happy with our stay there.

So for my first trip international I went to Tokyo and stayed at this hotel. I loved almost everything about it except for two things. 1) The breakfast could have used more variety. 2) No free wifi. But it has a great location next to the train station, 7-11, McDonalds, and Post Office just in case you need to withdraw money using a foreign (non japanese) bank card. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. Room was kinda small but for the price I didn't mind because I was never there unless I had to shower and sleep. Overall good experience can't wait to go back.

Pros: - 2 major subway stations (Kayabacho and Suitengumae) are within a 10 min walk. - Tsukiji fishmarket is within a 20 min walk. - Breakfast included. - The room has air conditioning. - They provide you slippers, pajamas, razor, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, hairdryer; leave those at home. - Very affordable. Cons: - No Wi-Fi in room, only in the lobby. There is Internet in the room through cable, though. - No iron in the room.

It's a decent hotel for the price. Hope they can help people arrange the city tour.Representitive from [...]told me that they have free shutal bus to airport, that was not true. There are airport lamozine to the hotel but it is not Free. It cost 2900 Japanes yuan.
