Staff was great, service was pleasant and they went out of their way to help me with my concert tickets that arrived there prior to my check in date. But rooms are super outdated and we had broken air conditioning so room was getting hot we had to open the door to the balcony. The shower curtains are so weak they don’t keep the water inside, so when you shower you have to dry the floor. The fitness center was only equipped with 4 machines (2 old treadmills and 2 old bikes) the best part of the hotel was the Japanese garden at night. I don’t see myself staying here again. It’s a bummer because the location is super close to the shinagawa station.

The hotel is very nice. Indeed it is a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star property, but you can tell it’s quite old property. But it is NOT a negative factor because they kept and maintained it very well. The room was nice, clean and spacious. We had a room with cute round balcony and view of Tokyo Tower 🗼 that was very nice to finish our trip this way. The Japanese garden between hotel towers is just amazing. It is a must to take a walk during night in the garden. It’s very beautiful and zen. The subway station is very near as well.

The hotel common areas are grand. However the room’s condition is dated. I am estimating 15-20 years since the last renovation. It could also be the high volume of travelers since this hotel is within 10 minutes walking to Shinagawa station. If you need to be close to the city center for business purposes or travel preferences, then it’s a reliable choice.
