The room was fine, and it has a great view of the river. The odd thing was that the heater was right next to the head of the bed, and it blows quite hard right in your face! We had to turn it off for the night, and so room got a bit chilly. It warmed up ok in the morning.

An excellent inexpensive, clean, and comfortable room. Everything worked as it should. Morning breakfast was simple and very good. Bed was actually the size advertised instead of the somewhat smaller beds that many other properties provide. A view that is simply fabulous!

Great location overlooking the Dalles barrage and Columbia River. Far enough from the interstate to be quiet. Excellent service, very friendly staff, even got a glass of wine at check in. Very comfortable room Will come back but I heard they're booked solid in summer.
