Shower/tub sounded like about to fall through floor. 2 remotes for tv that looked like somebody tried staking it. No trash bags. Called desk and he brought a huge 30 gallon bag. Also, little hygiene bottles(lotion conditioner shampoo) 1 was half empty during this pandemic. Burned out lights(3) broken vending machines. Breakfast was literally juice corn flakes or raisin bran and toast with yogurt. But storage room door was open and you could see waddle fryer and can of gravy.
The woman at the front desk on Saturday afternoon and evening was the only bright spot on our stay. The floors were so disgustingly dirty I had rewash my kids’ feet after they ran around the room after their bath. The hallways were worse! While the continental was on par for the range of hotel, I could stomach even being in the seating area because of the incredibly foul smell coming from the sink.
We enjoyed our quiet stay at this hotel. We were happy with the service.
Dirty, old, broken and worn out furniture. Weak and noisy floors. Thread bare, tiny towels. Leaking faucet with water that sprays all over counter. Thin walls so you can hear neighbors. Non-locking side doors that grant access to the building to anyone without a room key. The staff was nice but way too young and inexperienced to be working a front desk. Cigarette butts and dog poop all around the immediate area. Parking very tight and the highway workers THAT LIVE THERE occupy most parking spaces and the terrible “breakfast”. One of the dirtiest and overpriced places I’ve ever stayed in.

The shower was disgusting and had rust and mold around the shower head. The motel grounds were full of trash and cigarette butts. The room and hallways smelled like rotting carcasses. At the end of the day the facility was full of construction workers that I found out were living there, that were repairing the nearby highway and their trucks and equipment was not pleasant. I will not stay at another Super 8 again. I've had enough of giving money to badly managed franchised motels/hotels.
Not bad considering that they were painting the inside of the motel. Iron, ironing board and coffee maker did not function as they should. They should at least remove anything that does not work instead of having non-working items in rooms. The door to my room dangerously slammed shut every time I entered or left the room. Cigarette butts and trash surrounded the property all the way around. Bags of trash left next to trash cans for unknown reasons. Water pressure in shower was very weak and low. Having stayed at many of the motels in the immediate area, this is still "not a bad stay" compared to other places in the same price range.
Old and dirty. You can tell no one really cares. Trash and cigarette butts by the hundreds overwhelm you at every entrance. Horrible smell of rotting something in the room. Fire system alarm went off at 2:am and management had no clue what happened and acted as if that happens every night. Manager was yelling at the very nice clerk in front of guests trying to check in. All in all, a bad experience.
Crappiest room for highly inflated price. I haven't stayed in a super 8 in many years now i remember why. Recessed lites hanging out of ceiling. Broken tile. Bathtub creaks and groans you feel like you will fall through. Room right on freeway. Loud all nite.
Beds very, very hard and I like a firm bed. Room had a slight odor when we entered. The young man at the desk was super nice and that made it somewhat ok.
My room wasn't cleaned the first night I was there, not sure if they forgot I rented the room or what the deal was. I have stayed in this hotel several times and this is the first time this has ever happened.
Really great except for one pesky fly. Quiet.barking w/boat too short.

For 2 star hotel - very good. What we did not like - 1) beds are squeaky 2) breakfast is very poor 3) there were no available seats for breakfast, and we had to go out for breakfast

We arrived with a sick child in the car. She had just vomited over herself and car seat. I explained this to the reception staff, ask for some towels. The staff was totally not helpful with our situation. I was required to register, go to our room and get towels. Other than that the hotel was clean, reasonably priced and easy to get to. There was jo remote in the room for the tv.
This is a very ordinary motel, not too expensive, no frills, rooms are clean.
super 8 in the dalles, ore is all good! have stayed there before.
We were only there for one night, thought the cost was a little much for the location and overall amenities. Somewhere in the $60-$80 per night would have been more reasonable. 5 Movie channels were available, but the picture quality was bad. Bed was comfortable though and we slept well.
Even though I specifically booked a non-smoking room, we ended up getting a smoking room - that was the only one left according to the desk clerk. However, the he was kind enough to find us a non-smoking room for the next night. However, this room was missing an armchair - no biggie for one a night stay though. The hotel location is in the middle of a strip-mall, right next to the highway. Traffic noise and early morning back-of-store loading truck noises wake you up or keep you up. Complimentary breakfast is served from 6 to 10, however, by 8 am there were no more yoghurts left, only choices were carbs and sugar (waffle, bagel, bread). Hotel pool is not inviting, located along the hotel 'toolshed', A/C units are strewn about, and the dedicated smoking area is there, also.
