The staff was very helpful. We knew the place was inexpensive. But it was quite old and outdate. It is in a nice location near the Columbia Gorge and Mount Hood. It seemed like a place where contractors and worker stayed mostly.

This is a busy area. Check in was easy. Cookies and hot coffee in the lobby at 8pm was a nice touch. Staff was friendly. We ate dinner at the restaurant. Was ok. Sweet potato fries were undercooked. Burger had too much mayo on it. Again, staff was very friendly. Room was clean enough. Air conditioner very noisy but it's ok, drowned out the traffic and gas station noise. Water in the shower was hot and water pressure good. Very pet friendly place. They had a basket in the room with dog towels, a sheet to put over the bed so dog could get on it, water bowl, poop bags, and dog biscuits. Pet area near the Tesla chargers was nice and clean with plenty of grass and things to sniff, but very noisy with large air conditioner unit outside, traffic, pool area on one side and the gas station on the other. My shy pup was too distracted to do her thing the first few times, but got used to it after the 4th visit to the pet area. We could hear foot traffic upstairs. Our neighbor kept slamming his door and smoking in front of our door. Not the hotels fault by any means, but did not make for a great stay. Then he tried to talk to me on our first early morning, bra-less, big-hoodie-on visit to the pet area. Not cool dude! Read the vibes! Would stay again if I was just passing through. The price was right, pet friendly and the staff was nice. Restaurant is fun and convenient. Just have expectations of noise.

Check-in errors led to many trips to get key cards changed, a man not in our party was given the same room and unlocked our door which fortunately had the security bar in place. I had to make three trips to the office to get key cards replaced. The first room we were given had only one bed and was being occupied by someone else. All in all a very bad experience
