I'll start with the negatives.... The food was not good. Very oily and generally poor. You have a sunbed olympics event every morning at 8:30. People running to get there sunbed. We didnt take part but still managed to find a bed ok. Positives.... Rooms are modern. Everything is thought of regarding the kitchen equipment. You have more than everything you need. The bed is the comfiest bed I have slept in whilst staying in a foreign hotel. Aircon is great. Balcony was big. Pool area was very clean and the swim up bar was very nice too. The jacuzzi was a bonus too. Staff were great. Location is good too One thing to mention.... It is mainly timeshare. You do get asked to concierge. She wasn't pushy at all and was friendly enough.

Good position, walking distance to the promenade and restaurants. Apartments clean and has adequate facilities within it. Staff friendly and happy to help. However, for those who like to rise early and sit on the sunbeds as we do forget it, the poolside is "roped" off until approximately 8.30 by which there is a queue to gain access, it seems that once said bed is obtained it is alright to wander off for 3 hours!! Also if you wish to partake in the quiz remember to collect the questions 5 hours before they give the answers!!!

We are timeshare holders, we visit Tenerife 1/3 times a year, The Royal Sunset Beach is one of our favourite places to stay. It's clean and modern, nice pool, plenty of sun-beds, the resort isn't to big which is nice, the apts are clean and spacious. disabled friendly, with slops and points to recharge scooters. The Royal Sunset Beach Club, is situated at the top of a hill, supermarket and cash point next door, at the bottom of the hill, there's the beach and lots of good restaurants, big plus! At long last they have sorted the Internet, as must places this is charged per day.

Our first stay at this location, one of three Diamond Resorts International in Costa Adeje. No disappointment here. Excellent one bedroom apartment with recently renovated kitchen appliances and superb air conditioning. All personnel very friendly and helpful. But Minnie, front desk manager provided us with an extraordinary service, assisting us in dealing with Iberia for our flight out. Most gratifying was observing her obvious joy in assisting us to a great conclusion. Concierge desk also very helpful.

We enjoyed very much this place, because of good location, kindness of the staff and lots of children activites (pool, table tennis, night shows/parties). Perfect beach, restaurants and shops are near to RSBC (200 m), you can achieve them by foot. Siam park, Aquapark and Siam Mall are not far. We recommend it to everyone.

The apartments are well equipped and modern. The pool is stunning and the staff are so helpful. Tony is such fun at the bar and Cristina makes a wicked vodka and coke. I've had an amazing holiday that can't really be faulted. Wish I could stay longer. Suggestion are to request a bottom floor apartment if possible with pool view. Sunbed situation enraged a few. But we had a routine and would drink our morning tea while waiting for the sunbed dash. I found it quite entertaining. I would definitely return, in fact already checking out price for our return. Thanks to all the friendly and helpful staff you have made our holiday perfect. See you again soon

Not enough sunbeds and if you want a bed by the pool be prepared to be up with the lark, even though you are not suppose to reserve beds the ones that are reserved are the members as they have a stripy hotel towel. By the time 9am arrives you will not get a bed ans if you reserve one without a hotel towel they get taken off. Never again will I use Diamond Resorts. Wifi at 5 Euros a day and the room cleaning every few days. We ended up om the beach hiring sunbeds and a parasol for a few days. Constantly been reminded that we gave a free breakfast or lunch and then a meeting for 90 minutes. No thanks, why would i do that and lose half a day of my holiday when you cant guarantee me and my family a sun bed.

I have already written a review on this resort but feel that I have to warn people about charges made. On check out I was told categorically that the charge for the safe would not have been deducted from my credit card and told that I had to pay for this in cash, which I did. On returning to the UK I found my CC had been charged with the safe fee and I have been waiting since May for Diamond Resorts to refund the money. No luck from them to date and all I would day is watch you don't get charged twice either as Diamond simply don't want to know once you have left the resort

So nostalgic coming back after all this time!! Lots of good changes such as Aircon, new flooring around the pool, new loungers and reception area. Staff incredibly helpful, very clean everywhere and great evening entertainment. My only niggle is the people queuing for sun loungers at 7am!! The pool area doesn't open till 8.30!! This meant that most of the loungers are gone by 9am and towels are left on many loungers all day by some families when the limit is supposed to be 1 hour no return. This could be monitored better. But that's literally the only niggle. Will certainly return!!

Pros: - The room and hotel in general was very clean. - The rooms had everything we needed, including dishwasher tablets! - There were activities throughout the day for both adults and kids to take part in. Foam party, volley ball etc. - The staff were very helpful and friendly with all enquiries we had. The majority of customer facing staff also seemed to also be English so there were no language problems. - The location was great. Walk out the hotel, directly opposite is a path down to the beach. Plenty of local restaurant and excursions on offer to keep you busy. Cons: - The WiFi was charged at around €6 a day, and for this the speeds were around 1.5mbs download and 0.5mbs upload and only covered 2 devices. For what costs €84 a week for a family of 4, I thought this was extremely poor value for money. It should be free or a decent connection. - You have to pay extra for the safe. - There were no where near enough sun beds by the pool to accommodate everyone staying there. We set an alarm at 8:30 in the morning to go out and join the crowd of people waiting for the pool to open, who then run to reserve beds. Absolutely ludicrous and definitely a downer, we didn't expect to have to set an alarm in order to relax later on in the day! - Referring to the previous comment, a lot of people reserved sun beds. We were not happy to find our towels had been removed less than an hour later, whilst not many others had. We soon realised everyone using their own towels had theirs taken away whilst those using the hotels towels remained in place (some of them were not used all day). And guess what, if you want to use the hotel towels... you have to pay! - The cleaner came less than 18 hours after we arrived, and 18 before we left but not anytime for the 5 days in between which I thought was odd. I'm also not sure what the cleaner did apart from sweep, the beds weren't changed and neither were the towels which we were hoping for. I later discovered you had to pay extra to have towels changed.
