We spent two weeks April/May here through our Diamond Resort Club. Had a great relaxing time. One bedroom apartment on the ground floor close to pool and Jacuzzi. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Jamie's restaurant providing great food and good prices. Entertainment at night was a good standard and we enjoyed all the acts. Reception and Jamie were a great help when our return taxi from Sun transfers failed to turn up. However had we realised there was a taxi rank right outside we wouldn't have bothered pre booking. Not much difference in price. This was one of Diamond Resorts we had not been to but we will certainly be back. Feel its a pity though that some guests seem to wait for happy hour before rising from their sunbed. We like to use the pool bar for snacks etc throughout the day. Very good value. Anyway that's just my wee grumble. Hate watching the mass exodus when the bell rings at 5 and then they disappear at six. All in all we had a great holiday. I would recommend Harriet's tearooms(. Great cakes). Silver spoon, Tetra rossa(I think that's how you spell it, and Michelle all down at the beach. All do great food, lunch or dinner.

Came here with friends for a short trip. I have to say it was amazing. Great place, location . Loved it. Quite exceeded our expectations. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much bother. Our apartment had everything you need. Clean and spacious. You can hire pool towels at just one euro a day, this means you have more space in your case for clothes.absolutely fab place and would definitely come back.

We visited the resort in early March the check in was as smooth as it usual.is with the reception guys.The appartment was not ready so we spent time at the pool bar,the appartment was ready at 3pm and as normal it was all cleaned for our stay.The staff are as allways very friendly,and I must say the pool and restaurant staff are great and a massive improvement under Jamie as was the food.I would like to thank the whole staff at this resort specially Ruth on reception and Jamie and Angie in the bars and restaurant.I would also like to mention Guatchi the hosepipe guy thanks for wetting my flip flops he does it every year lol

Royal sunset beach club is truly a lovely place to stay, The rooms are lovely and maintained to the highest standard, The pool area is great with a jaccuzi and very clean, pool bar is brilliant and only charges a euro a pint all day long the whole complex is very clean, Staff are very helpful. The area where the complex is situated is where all the restaurants are, and only one minute away from the beach.

A great find, we are coming back next year. We had 2 x 2 studio apartments self catering, overlooking the pool. You had everything you needed. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and staff are really friendly.Perfect location a few minutes from the beach. Bar food and drinks were not expensive and happy hour is between 5-6pm with nightly entertainment. Supermarket almost next door to hotel. Don’t do transfer.. so much quicker and cheaper to get taxi €30 from outside airport and taxi rank right outside hotel.

The location of the resort in Adeje is very good close to all amenities and the beach. The room allocated to us was one of the darkest if not the darkest room we have ever stayed in. The pool area was nice but we were amazed at how many people were round the pool with glasses of lager and cups of tea, luckily none were broken whilst we were there. Overall the resort is quite good but in need of some TLC. The restaurant is something else. Jamie the owner runs a tight ship but he looks after his staff. The food is out of this world. We had 3 meals whilst we were there and you could not fault the service or the quality of the food all meals were excellent. Well done Jamie.

The location of the hotel was good, the accommodation was great, the staff were always very pleasant. As a female on my own, i found the reception staff very helpful and reassuring about any small problem I encountered, especially Nestor Hernardez. The only downside was the cost of using the Wi-Fi. I would definitely come back again, and recommend the hotel to others!

After 9 months of looking forward to this holiday with my husband, 4 year old son and my 11 month old daughter but it ended up as a holiday of hell, upset, mither and a scared 4 year old boy. We arrived on Friday 21st April early evening to apartment 231 to none of our booking requests carried out. We had to chase and liaise with reception to provide our requested items for the children. Sunday evening we came into the apartment to a big cochroach, which my husband dealt with and we thought it would be a one off. I woke up Monday morning with my daughter to 12 dead and alive cochroach throughout the apartment, we found 1 cochroach in my daughters cot. I immediately rung reception who sent out maintenance who explained we would have to move apartments as they can not fumigate whilst children staying in the apartment. So management moved us directly downstairs to apartment 124, I checked with several staff members that we would not have the same issue, they all responded no. So we moved, it took us 3 hours with 2 small children and no help provided by staff but we were just relieved to move apartments. We tried to settle in apt 124, but Monday morning I saw another cochroach in the middle of the apartment near the kitchen and hallway and it ran under the fridge. We again decided, benefit of the doubt, hot climate it was only one plus we didn’t fancy moving kids again for just one. So we planned a lovely afternoon of shopping and Hard Rock Cafe for tea, so after the pool we went back to the apartment to get showered and changed. My husband was in my sons bedroom and 2 further cockroaches fell out of the air conditioning unit. I was fuming, upset and unsettled so I went to reception to explain, the receptionist said there were no more 2bedroom apartments. I explained we had kept all doors shut, no food in the apartment and no rubbish in the bin so where had they getting in. My husband is a Chartered Surveyor and explained to reception they are in the fabric of the build and there was lice eggs in the air conditioning unit, receptionist did not seem shocked. After my husband said this the receptionist told us there was another 2 bed apartment. So we had to cancel our plans and move again. Took us 2 hours with kids crying with the disruption and 2 stressed parents. We demanded to see the Resort Manager, as we could tell by the receptionist face that they knew about the cockroach infestation in those apartments. The Manager, Daniel Masot manages two hotels in Costa Adeje, Royal Sunset Beach Club and Sunset Habour. We were told by reception he was in meetings and difficult to confirm times to meet. So after mithering reception staff and showing that we are not going to drop this we got a meeting at 11am Wednesday. At 11am we got our son out of the pool and met with Daniel in his office. He apologised and explained they can have this issue and offered us a full refund for the upset it has caused. Daniel told us, as we had booked through Expedia we needed to email or ring them to request a refund and Expedia would email Diamond Resorts and Daniel would email them back confirming this. We had never gone in wanting a full refund or expected a full refund just simply wanted the disruption caused to be put right. So we were shocked the customer service and felt like we were important to the Resort Manager. We asked for him to photocopy our file for our records as we wanted proof of this but he would not. Alarm bells started ringing so I decided to ring Expedia and dealt with it straight away. Expedia emailed Daniel Masot, the resort manager and they included me in on the email so I knew he received the email Wednesday at 12pm. By Thursday afternoon, we had not received any information from Daniel, Resort Manager or Expedia. So I chased with reception, they knew nothing that Daniel had told us so therefore couldn’t confirm it. Thursday 3pm it became apparent that Daniel Masot, Resort Manager of Royal Sunset Beach Club was trying to deferring us until we were leaving the resort, he was lying to us to shut us up. He was never going to complete the refund. Expedia rang Daniel and emailed him direct but Daniel has ignored all Expedia tries. We demanded another meeting with him on Thursday at 4pm, he refused to meet us in our apartment (3rd apartment) or on our patio as we were in mist of packing and our son was asleep. So we had to wake our son and go to Daniel office again. He was very aggressive with me when I questioned him on why he has had the email since midday yesterday and not responded to it. After a heated conservation he ended up saying “it was not his problem and that he did not care and that it is our problem” We never asked for a full refund, we never expected a full refund and we never asked for one. We simply asked for the disruption caused to be put right and refund for the disrupted days. This holiday cost us a lot of money and we were lookIng forward to a family holiday. I feel sad for our 4 year old who wanted to spend the days in the pool and by the beach and really he spent a lot of time moving apartments and in Daniel Masot office. Out of 7 days, 4 days were disrupted. Please do not stay at this Resort, if you do stay please do not allow the keys to apartment 231 and 124 as the cockroaches are in the fabric of the property not coming from the outside.

Everything we could wish for. Staff on arrival made us feel welcome and couldn't do more to find us a quiet room. Great central location ideal for anything you could wish to do. Second visit and won't be out last. Well equipped apartment with balcony and Sun/roof terrace.

We had room 251 when we walked in opened our curtains well what a sight! Tramp and his mates up to 7 at a time drinking beer all day, smoking weed and pissing up the fence in fromt of us. What a state not nice at all we had 7 year and 14 year old children asked to be moved as soon as we arrived the receptionist was rude not pleasant at all said no room to move you end of story! Well i was not happy at all. So we had to put up with the loud talking singing with the F work all day and night with guitars playing. This got worse by the Wednesday so i went down again same miserable women on reception sge said will phone police yes guess what no police came. Absoulete shambles this place! Receptionist was not helpful at all. I woukd never recommends this hotel or ever return. I have complained by the feed back to the hotel and by email direct to diamond but neither responded so i am taking this further. I have videos and loads photos to prove of this scum we saw on our 7 nights there. It was so bad you couldn't sit out on the balcony as all you heard and saw was spitting and F**k word not on! Family resort too.
