Staff very nice and helpful, clean, wonderful location

The location and view were outstanding. The service was also outstanding.

Old room, bad A/C, broken shower head and the food doesnt taste fresh

I am very unhappy about my stay at the Crown Plaza in Tel Avit.. I could not believe that such a big change like crown plaza will put their name in a horrendous property. Old Bldg., runed down, ugly, room terribly decorated. I will guess this property has at least 30 years without any updates.. Bed-board very old, lamination floor very disgusted and old, bathroom with horrible ceramic.. I will never recommend this hotel and you should not advertise this hotel either. In general is the most ugly place I have stayed in a long time.

Try to avoid staying here until the renovations have been completed. Windows are covered stucco and dirt from the outside and have to keep curtains closed for privacy as there are worked outside. Balconies are locked and off limits. Banging/drilling starts at around 8am and continues until mid-day. Overall, this hotel is inferior (older, worse facilities) compared to the surrounding beach hotels.

Rooms are very dirty construction work in bcony a lot of nose pool doing construction work you can not release

Some rooms have adjoining doors which are not sound proof. On Ocean which is great location.

I had a good time. Breakfast was good. Beach view nice pool. Loved playing volleyball on the beach.

I reserved 2 rooms on the Crown Floor thinking the rooms would be much nicer than their normal rooms. Well there was much left to be desired. We stayed there 4 nights and from the first time we stepped on the our floor the smell of cigarette smoke was every where. We complained to the front desk but no action was taken. This was every day. Finally they decided to give me one night credit which i never received. Sorry but i cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was very courteous! They go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, the meals and the location.

The staff is polite, helpful and just the best! The food was delicious. We had a perfect Shabbat dinner. It was the first time I could light Shabbat candles without having to bring my own. Location is perfect. We were near everything.

This was our first visit. We had a wonderful experience. Our room was excellent; we had a great view of the harbor and beach from our balcony. The breakfast was good Israeli with pancakes and waffles thrown in. Excellent serving/cleaning at breakfast. Three special points: when I couldn't log in on WiFi to print boarding passes, they allowed me to go to the business room to do so. Natalia at front desk deserves special recognition for service. They made taxi reservations for us; there is a shuttle, but it doesn't start until 10 a.m. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel twice during the same trip to Israel - the first and last nights of our stay. This review is about the second stay.. where we were in the not yet updated room.. where the bed was very uncomfortable, and where the air conditioner ran all night and never got the room at all cool.... the stay during which we didn't sleep!

I was very upset from the day we checked in. We reserved 2 rooms on the Crown Floor and to my dismay they were very substandard I would hate to know what a standard room looks like. Both rooms were small. dirty carpets, clogged bath, minimal lighting in the bathroom. We basically had use of one bathroom during our stay. Also, this is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, well on the Crown Floor everyone was smoking and the hotel did nothing about it.

I just stayed there twice recently. These are five hotels on Hayarkon Street on the Beach, the Carlton, Herrods, Crowne Plaza, Sheraton, Renaissance. I have stayed in all of them. In general rooms and food are all the same except others are higher priced than Crowne Plaza, have fancier lobbies, do not have indoor/outdoor swimming pool, and are much LESS friendly. I would especially mention Eyal, Rami and Maya at the front desk for helpfulness and extra-service to guests.

The hotel was located right on the beach where you could walk down eat, play, or relax. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately some of the amenities close early for Shabbat on Friday and Saturday but that's to be expected. Overall great value for the price.

We decided to book the hotel for our first visit to the Holy Land. Staff was helpful, friendly. The room and housekeeping was 10/10 and the location is neat.

We booked the hotel mainly because it was close to the beach, the whe stay was a great experience, food was excellent, the room was great and hotel personnel was more than helpful and great. We would love to go back!!!

Stayed our last night after three weeks in hostels. Was a great treat.
