This is a large, modern hotel right on the beach, walking distance to the nightlife on Rothschild Ave. My room was modern, clean, well appointed and had a small balcony with an amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea. The staff was solicitous and friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful. They have an awesome deck with a pool overlooking the water, but they close up acces to it at 5:30, so if you are there for work, you will not be able to use it.
Very clean, customer service oriented hotel. Comfortable beds, nice shower, awesome breakfast. Staff goes the extra mile to help. Swimming pool on the 30th floor overlooking the ocean. Great location in Tel Aviv.
I stayed at the Isrotel for 6 weeks recently. The not so good - I found the pictures of the rooms on the website to be somewhat deceiving. I was in a one bedroom suite. The bedroom closet is not easy to access given the small size of the room. The kitchenette is poorly equipped and has one plug in element. The room and hallway is in need of an update. The good - the location is great - close to the beach and Carmel market. The great - the view of the beach is incredible but the staff really bring this hotel up from a very average 3 rating to a 4. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful and courteous. The staff in the breakfast room were attentive and a joy to see everyday. It is because of the staff that I would return to Isrotel in the future.
Situated in a very good location right by the sea and in a good position to walk around the city. Most rooms had a large balcony with good views over the city and the sea. We only had breakfast here as we were on a tour so cannot make any comment about dinner but the breakfast was more than adequate.
This hotel is newly renovated. Comfortable and in an excellent location - 2 minutes to the beach and in the central part of Tel Aviv. The view from the roof/rooftop pool is incredible. It feels very “Israeli” - many Israelis were vacationing here from around the country so it gives a local feel. My suite was perfect - large, clean, renovated, great view of the sea. I did not have the breakfast as I preferred to wander to restaurants and local markets. Staff spoke English well (as well as a few other languages it seemed (french, russian, hebrew...) - friendly. The hotel is tucked between two streets so takes a minute to find the first time. “Bar yehoshua” diagonally across the street was very friendly for solo travelers as well.
Perfect Hotel. Perfect location also works well as a beacon of navigation since you can see it from most locations in Tel Aviv. Cleam, multilingual staff. Near to almost everything. Basically live on the beach.
We spent one night there, after arriving late from the airport. Staff at check-in were friendly, helpful, and efficient, and we were in our room about 10 minutes after arrival. The room itself was ok, pleasant enough, and furnished in a modern style. The view was very nice, as was being able to open the window for some fresh air (although the window was a bit dirty/in need of repair). The bed was cozy and the curtains kept the room dark long enough for us to sleep in. Unfortunately the air condition was extremely noisy, so we had to turn it off, leading to it getting a bit warm. Breakfast was alright. For Israel, it was nothing special, and lacking a bit of selection (especially for bread and pastries). Just too bad that breakfast is in a stuffy basement room with no natural light. With such a hotel, it should be close to the top, taking advantage of the magnificent view. We also thought that even though the pool was closed, we could take the lift to the top and enjoy the view. It was a long journey up, and we were very disappointed arriving at the top as the terrace was closed and everything looked a bit filthy and in great need of maintenance. The hotel generally has a rather tired feel in certain places, and seems in a bit of a need of an update. The worst was check-out. At first they tried to charge us extra for the breakfast when it was already included in our booking. Then they tried to charge us extra for "3 children" - which we neither have, nor booked a breakfast for... Then they were unable to provide us with an invoice upon check-out and had to e-mail us a copy later because of whatever issues with the system they were having. These things can happen, but leave a bit of an unprofessional aftertaste. All in all, an ok hotel for one night. If you want to stay in Tel Aviv longer and enjoy the city, you have many, many better options.
Hotel staff were great. Hooked me up with cheap tickets to a local club. Hotel breakfast was great, and they had a free beer tap in the business lounge. Can't beat free beer! Hotel pool had an amazing view of the city and beach.
My wife and I spent a couple nights here. One standout was the lady at the front desk upon check-in. She was so nice and patient with us. We arrived late and she directed us to the ATM, where to eat, how to read shekels, etc. I did not have to deal with parking and car, which was looked a bit complicated. The hotel is across the street from the American Embassy, near the beach. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The furnishings were kind of Danish modern, wood. We really liked the bed and the bathroom. The rain shower, with much hot water and steam was a gift for me. The room was quiet and dark and the comfortable bed, made for a heavenly sleep. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in hotels. There were many, many choices of salads, breads, fruits, cheeses, cereals, meats, etc. The service could be a bit slow (for coffee or omelet), but once you got their attention the service was acceptable. Overall, I liked the comfort and friendliness of the hotel and it is just across the street to the beach.
Unfortunately we were only here for 1 night. The room and beds were super comfy with thick comforters. We had a specialty prepared dinner upon arrival for our group and the following morning a wonderful buffet breakfast. This was one of the better hotels stayed at during our 9 day trip to Israel.
