1. Pool Closed for season. 2. Weird room layout with no desk and very little storage. 3. Wi-Fi difficult to connect and would kick you off at random times. This also resulted in poor txt (sms) communications and multiple missed calls and call failures using Wi-Fi. 4. Bathroom is a clear glass window to bathroom. It has blinds but still can be awkward. 5. The room photos show storage in bathroom and bedroom. This is the same cabinet that opens from either side. No chest of drawers. 6. The mirror is not over the sink and off to the side which shades the light when shaving or applying makeup. 7. The hotel restaurant is vegetarian with approximately 6 entree selections. Not a bad thing if you are a vegetarian but not so yummy for meat eaters. 8. There is a very small "TV tray" style table that is the only thing available to use as a desk in the room. Technically didn't matter because I couldn't get the Wi-Fi to connect to do any work. The beach area is awesome and we ended up moving across the street to the Carlton for a little more money. Totally worth every extra penny to stay at the Carlton!
The place has nice rooms, especially balcony & sea view, but I made a reservation and they didn't tell me that the pool will be close for "winter season" and I couldn't get into the pool ( I choose this hotel because the pool at 30th floor), check in it's at 3:00 pm and I believe should be at 12:00pm like everywhere in the world.... it's not "too much" like they say!!
A booking of 4 nights (done at Hotels.com) in a suite facing the ocean were made. When we checked in (app. 1. PM) we were told that there were "some problems" with the lock to the suite but that it was just a question of time. well well. We saw the suite and I was almost shocked. Have'nt seen a "suite" like that before. Positive thing - we could see the ocean from the suite ;-). And it was on 13. floor. But interiour-wise - holy crap! Went straight to the reception (while a man were still working on the lock/door to our room) asking for a room not looking like a hotelroom from the seventies in USSR. The guy in the reception offered to show me another suite - which he did. Much nicer interiour-wise but not to say that I were "convinced". But better. When he then said that it would cost me extra for this "upgrade" (I've already paid app. 460$ pr night for the suite booked) I refused. So we unpacked our stuff, accepted that this hotel would never become a nice experience and went to the beach. App 6PM we came back from the - and the same guy in the reception told us they were still working on the door to our suite and therefore they would have to move us to another room. And yes - we were asked to move to the suite offered us earlier. Now without extra cost. So up we went, packed all our stuff and installed ourself in this new "upgraded" suite. Compensation - 2 cokes and 250ML of fresh milk in the fridge. How generous Isorotel ;-)! We stayed our 4 nights here. And enjoyed Tel Aviv and the beach. But definitely not the hotel! What a lack of service. What a lack of hospitality, service and smile. Try to go to the breakfast - which is actually pretty nice. Take a seat - and then look at the 3 young waitresses standing and talking. You want coffee - then you have to go to them and kindly ask them to serve a cup of coffee. So indifferent staff. So clear that this hotel is lacking some very simple things: management/leadership, professional training and attitude. Not to say that the issue is that all staff seems to be from Russia - would not be surprised it the owner is so as well. Conclusion - I would prefer to stay at a 2* motel - with a nice service. Do not go there!
Thank you to ALL the wonderful staff at the Leonardo Tower Hotel, Tel Aviv. From start to end, the lobby, bar, restaurant and room staff were amazing. The room was clean & tidy. Beds are comfortable and lots of pillows to choose from. Food in the restaurant was fresh with ample choice. Only small (very small) downside was that, being Australian, the tap beer ran out often. Getting around Tel Aviv, by public transport, was very easy. The staff at Leonardo Tower had spot-on information. Love Tel Aviv, Leonardo Tower Hotel and all of Israel.
The positive: Clean hotel and very safe area. The breakfast was good and varied slightly each day which was nice. The staff was pretty friendly and the location was excellent. Compared to surrounding properties, this hotel was a good value for the money. Easy location to walk to the beach, supermarkets, and numerous restaurants. Our room slept 3 people comfortably. The negative: Our safe did not work so was unable to use. I put out a "do not disturb" on our door while we ate breakfast but yet somehow housekeeping still entered and cleaned our room. Nothing was taken but our ipads and phones and personal items were scattered all over the room. I feel like this was an invasion of our privacy. The pool is quite small, as is the workout room. (and they didn't open until 9am)
I only spent 1 night in the hotel after some business meetings but the hotel staff were very friendly, the hotel is clean and near the beach and has an excellent pool on the 30th floor with a great view. The breakfast was very good; I would definitely stay again.
Rooms are nice but are kind of small. Great location and not far from the beach and the mall (within walking distance). The staff is friendly and the hotel also offers a free day tour to Jaffa and the diamond center.
Loved my stay here! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic. Location brilliant. Balcony a plus. Highly recommend this hotel. Downfall the fridge it’s like a vending machine. Challenging if you need medication kept their.
We spent one night there on a business trip. Hotel was good , pool on the roof awesome. Only two issues if I had been 6 foot the bed would have been too short and trying to find the entrance and the parking were difficult so much so I had to drop my wife off to go in a back entrance to get instructions. Big bonus was that parking was free!
We enjoyed our stay in Tel Aviv and mostly at Isrotel tower. Great location, clean and safe.. the pool on top of the building was awesome.. Parking is a little confusing but other than that it is a great place..
