A big improvement on the room's appearance and presentation. The carpets are no longer stained and ripped and the modernisation to the décor has helped for a brighter look. Outstanding views from the window and the winter afternoon sun was streaming through and nice and cosy.

We recently booked and stay in two rooms while attending an event at Sydney Olympic Park. Upon arrival, we were able to easily get into the outside carpark and find a vacant space. We checked in quickly and efficiently at the front desk, and were provided with two adjoining superior rooms. When we went to the lifts, we discovered that one of the two lifts was broken, and a notice was cleary displayed on the broken lift advising that parts are being ordered. This effectively made travel up/down the lifts a bit of a nightmare. On one trip, we were greeted by people on a much lower floor who said that they had missed 2-3 lifts because they were so full and they couldn't fit in. Others were jumping in lifts going down, even though they wanted to go up, just to secure a ride. The rooms were clean and had all you could want for an overnight stay. Well laid out and comfy, although we found our double bed to be a bit small and soft. We did notice that the rooms weren't that great for outside noise from the corridor if people were being a little loud outside. We went for a full breakfast in the morning. While the food was plentiful, some of it didn't really taste very nice. The cooked breakfast was very good, with a chef preparing eggs (however you liked them) fresh. The hot foods were replenished often, which was good too. At $29 per head, it was perhaps a little expensive considering the options. But as we were time limited and hungry, it was okay on this occasion. Check out took a little longer waiting for a few people ahead of us. There didn't seem to be an express check-out option available (we had pre-paid). Considering its location, it was a very handy and reasonably priced option for an event at Sydney Olympic Park events. We would stay again - hoping that the lifts are working.

As a frequent traveller I am constantly amazed by the quality of this hotel. The upgrade and renovation has really taken this hotel to another level. Fresh sophisticated and modern it's sure to inspire wether it's business or pleasure. 3 great places to eat to tickle your fancy. Stock restaurant to satisfy the everyday traveller. Steeds to indulge for the more delicate of tastes and the post for the casual meal at irresistible prices. The staff will cater to any need and no request is too much. The place to call home when your away from home

Have stayed here for over 15 yrs on businees , never disappointed , meals are great , easy to access main road ways to get around . Rooms are comfortable , showers good. Staff have always been helpful and I will be back

Quiet comfortable room, of a reasonable size with a nice out look over the racecourse. Ensuite well fitted out, and resupplied as needed. Rosehill Train station is across James Ruse Drive and hotel well serviced with taxis or Uber. Swimming pool and outdoor area.

Haven't stayed in this hotel in 18 months to 2 years. On arriving check in was easy and fast. When I entered my room it was a great surprise as the room had been majorly updated from the old 70s vibe to a modern purpose built room. My stay was great and would stay again next time I am in Parramatta.

Talk about pretentious! I came across the road from the Waldorf parramatta because their drinks list was appalling. Here the drinks list is great BUT when I asked "what are my chances of a great Bloody Mary" to be met with "is that the one with tomato juice". I should have known it would be awful and it was. I followed this up with two Italian proseccos which hit the mark. The food though, $38 for a piece of blue eyed cod that was not as big as the old iPhone, with what was supposed to be prawn mousse that was a hard lump of something. The waitress did say that the fish was a big piece but the accompanying vegetables make it a light meal. Light on the food, heavy on the wallet!

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Would stay again and recommend to friends. Easy access to train, just across the road. Staff were very accommodating, got me an extra blanket, let me leave my friends beanie at the desk to pick up when she left it behind., Great coffee from the girls at the breakfast area.

We had a very good stay! But the highlight was without doubt the restaurant service. Most friendly and helpful manager ever, so lovely and great impression of stock restaurant. The Brazilian lady ( cannot remember her name) couldn't have been more sweet, giving us popcorn when we first arrive, little kit for my son, attending along with such unique personality, ensuring not just the kids but we were looked after. The restaurant was packed, but we couldn't tell, she gave such an amazing service, finished with some lollies with our bill. What a great and creative idea. We couldn't be happier with our Saturday night dinner! And what made us more impressive was the fact she was back for breakfast service with the same bright energy and the staff were just as good... Niki made us a great coffee ! Really happy about our stay and we found the hotel a great spot in parramatta.

Absolutely dissapointed in the whole stay.. Arrive with our family to stay 1 night .. Our room was booked for a dream king bed and sofa ..we got 2 singles and a sofa and whilst they did push the singles together and fix the room it was a hassle ! The rooms are not cleaned to a high standard. Seafood buffet was an absolute disgrace for nearly $50 per head with no selection and everything tasted like it has sat there for hours..then we were charged for water ! Paper thin walls kept us up all night with someone's child screaming all night (poor thing) Buffet breakfast was average and the staff are rude. The only smoking area is right at front door walking in . We were looking forward to staying here as we just picked up our children from airport and hadn't seen them for a while..but the experience was just not at all quality. We stayed at the waldorf across the road last time and decided this would be nicer. .but honestly we wished we went the waldorf.
