Beautiful location, run down hotel. Had to change rooms 3 times. First room smelt like old cheese and when I sat on the bed I heard an electrical noise behind the head board and the lights went out. The person at the front desk moved me to another room, I packed up all our stuff and went to the new room and found that the door lock wasn't working. Finally got to the 3rd room and settled in. Late into the night I was awoken by the sound of the pipes banging (like in comedy movie) and after a few minutes it seemed to subside. Lastly upon checkout the halls were ice cold, as I left I noticed that the door to the roof top deck was open because the ROCK that they use to prop it closed had moved. This place needs updating.

You need to have the expectation that you’re going to a beach hotel. It’s been recently renovated, but still has a slightly musty smell in the rooms. I imagine it has to do with proximity to the ocean, as it’s directly across from the beach. Be aware that the parking lot is small, and spots are small- designed more for a Ford Focus than a 3 row SUV. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful with any requests. The location was perfect- across the street from Narragansett town beach, Coastguard House restaurant,

Rooms are a nice size although a bit outdated. The lobby is very nice. Wasn’t happy with the check-in - we got there and there was no one at the front desk. We had to wait about 10 mins for someone to show up. Disappointed that there was no continental breakfast. Overall stay was OK.

We arrived to a musty damp room. Our son found leftover food in his room’s refrigerator, indicating the room may not have been completely cleaned. The hotel was booked solid so changing rooms wasn’t an option. The hotel did reduce our bill next morning. There is a complimentary coffee bar with packaged cakes and cookies which is nice but as a traveler I would have liked a restaurant on premises to provide healthier choices. The hotel is in a good location by the beach but is in need of updating.

Great location for Narragansett but place is old and needs a make over. There was no mention that rooms would not be cleaned and hence I think there should be a discount. All they are did was empty trash and swap out towels which I had to grab staff in the hallway to even do that. Luckily we went before Memorial day which is still off season so rates are reasonable but I would not have been happy paying double the rate for no room servicing and the overall dated and dirty condition.

Staff friendly and helpful. Location amazing!! Large room. Comfy beds. Property a bit dated, yet clean, and under renovation.

The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, housekeeping was all over the halls at 5:00 p.m., the microwave in our room was ancient, the TV is tiny. We were offered coffee, but there was none left and the staff we're not helpful when this was mentioned to them. The pool was a disgrace.

Friendly staff, great location, cute Valentines Day decorations ❤️

Could not check-in until over an hour after check-in time. Staff was rude and not accommodating.

Stayed 2 nights here with my wife in August. The place is a little tired but the bed was comfortable and all we really did was sleep here. Staff was great. Very loud where we were (unfortunately right by an entrance/the pool) but some of that was due to other guests, not the hotel itself. Good location, which explains but doesn't fully justify the price. This place wasn't as bad as some people made it seem, even with the noise. Just know what you're getting into and try to manage expectations... it's not a 5 star hotel, but it's also not claiming to be one.

location was very convenient but the property was VERY understaffed.Waited 10min just to check in because front desk only had 1 person who was getting ice for a customer. a later pillow request was NEVER honored. "Continental" breakfast was Entemen's pastries out of the box.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Within walking distance to the beaches, shops and restaurants. The only thing wrong was there no towels in the room. Luckily the cleaning staff was on the floor and I was able to grab two towels from their cart.

Excellent location, beach is right nearby. Good area for restauraunts

The room itself was clean, however the facility was in need of upgrades and more attention to cleaning in the public spaces. I would not recommend staying here for the ambiance but the location cannot be beat... We will not be returning.

Excellent location with well done rooms. The common areas not so much
