Picked this hotel as it was near to the location i had to visit and how lucky was I. A very nice apartment in an ideal location with local buses to Bondi beach ($8.50) and CBD the same cost stopping right outside hotel entrance, also local to railway station so again easy access and the same cost again to CBD , Bondi junction itself is worth staying around with a Huge westfield with cinema and shops and eating area that sells foods to suit all tastes and wallets , it also has an array of eating venues in local streets and seemed to have a lively party scene going on and best of all an Irish old school pub which sold really good Guinness and massive pub food for $12-!5, excellent value and really good food. Will definitely return to this area and this hotel. Apartment contained enough utensils and pots and pans with fridge, microwave DW and small Cooker to cover breakfast at least and more should you choose , But it is its location that makes it a winner for me. We were in room 216 so some noise from street passing traffic etc but not that bad as it was a side street choose higher floors? Room cleaned every day except Sunday and fresh towels too, even loaded DW for us when we were out
Great stay, we will be back. The staff was very friendly and informative, the apartments clean and tidy. The location was good for us as it was near the train station and a few minutes to go to the city.
Great location in Bondi Junction near the train station. Room was well appointed and had adequate space with some kitchen facilities. Friendly staff at the check-in counter, gave us some tips on where to go for dinner. I Intend to stay again.
Friendly staff. Great location and accessibility. Room cleanliness needs improvement and construction noise adjacent to property needs to be declared so travelers are well aware and have a choice. Blackout curtains are a must!
Great location of hotel with restaurants and malls in close proximity, bed comfortable, and basic amenities were accessible. Room cleanliness average and mini bar items limited. More restaurants needed.
Room needs abit of care but other than that our the only thing our stay was ruined by was landing at 6am and check in at 2 which was completely our fault! No complaints would happily stay here again if in the area.
I have been in this hotel for almost 5 months. And I can really say, that even if the staff is great, and they do everything to try to help you in all they can. Unfortunately, the people responsible for maintenance, fixing, replacing and upgrading stuff, don't really give a damn about this place. The hotel feels like it had never had any upgrades and or maintenance from the day it first open its doors. I belive it is probably because they have a good location, that they feel like they dont really need to do anything about it. Ex: 1. The room smelled really REALLY bad, I had to ask for them to do a Ozone cleaning, so I had to stay away from the room for about a day for that. 2. My coworker friend had to call pest control to get rid of cockroaches on his room. 3. All bathrooms inundate the floor with water, ask anybody that stayed here. If you take a shower, you have to put all the towels on the floor, to absolve the water. 4. One of the 2 lifts broke down, and was out of duty for more than 2 weeks. 5. There is only one very small old Laundry area that is for all guests to use. There had 4 washing machines, and 4 very old dryers. On of the dryers broke down, and they got a "new" one, that broke down soon after. Now, for more than a month there are only 3 very old dryers, that take about 3.5h to dry one load. But there are 4 washing machines, that usually do a load in 35 or 60 min. This creates many problems between guests. 6. The hotel is in a gallery that lots of people actually uses just to pass by, so there are not only guest walking around the hotel area, but even with this scenario, you dont need a hotel key card to use the lift as it should be for security reasons. Anyone can just get in to any of the lifts and go to any floor they want to go. No questions asked, no key card needed to use the lifts. Had to stay here because the company placed me here. But I would never recommend this place to anyone, and would probably not come back. This was a great disappointing, as last year I stayed in the Quest at North Ride, and it was Amazing. Really sad to see that the standards are not the same in Bondi Junction.
Great value for $$ money and close proximity to airport, shops, kids hosp. so ticked all the boxes for our recent trip to Sydney. The staff were very accommodating and helpful arranging an early check-in
Thru bookings.com I asked for a "quiet room away from traffic". We were given a room on Oxford St on the bus route & adjacent to 2 construction sites. We then moved to room adjacent to 1 construction site which started work about 6-6.30 am. When cooking breakfast on Sunday morning we received a knock at our room door. Outside were 3 firefighters investigating an alarm in our room. The alarm HAD NOT SOUNDED and we had NO CONTACT from reception prior.
I was only here for two nights, so a very short stay, but the staff were all very friendly, the room was nice, clean and modern and had all the facilities I could have needed. The bed was super comfy - better than my bed at home! The location is also very good, a short walk to Westfield plaza and many other cafes and shops. It is also a very short walk to the train station. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
