Great welcome at desk. Friendly staff for a very tired traveler. Very very clean modern minimalist stylish room. Great location to central station and Chinatown. beats more expensive hotels hands down.
I visit that hotel for traveling with my whole family. When we arrive the hotel, we absolutely love it. It have eally nice view and location. And kind staff. so my family love the hotel, and also want suggest you guys!!
The hotel was in the perfect location- very close to Central station. Staff were super friendly throughout the entire stay and the room was incredibly spacious. A great and reasonably priced hotel in Sydney!
We were near everywhere! Very kind people and helpful. You have all the things needed, shampoo, toothpaste and soap. The location is near Central Station, accesible to all Sydney. We are definetely coming back!
Location is fantastic and very accessible. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, they offered a free upgrade and assisted us upon request. Would stay again and recommend to anyone staying in Sydney!!
A warning to people looking at booking this hotel: We were offered a free room upgrade if we left a 5* TA review before we checked in. I don't know how many other people are offered this deal, but I would suggest you take the 5 star reviews with a pinch of salt. I must admit we took the deal as it upgraded us from a shared bathroom to an ensuit, but I have since deleated the 5* review and am posting this honest 3* instead. This hotel is fine, the location is great for the station and lots of nice bars and restaurants near by. We stayed for one night as a budget option and I wouldn't have liked to stay any longer really. There was a strange smell in our room, originating from the bathroom I think which had a bit of a mould issue. Air con worked and free wifi, friendly staff, but cleanliness is not up to my standard really. A good base to explore from, but the strange smell needs addressing and the bed wasnt so comfy. Not bad and quite cheap for Sydney.
For the price, room was good and quiet, but the mess regarding the bond, I will never go back. Since my card was a debit, they would not accept it, I have had no problems anywhere else and their reason is that they can't charge me after I left so card rejected. Hint, you charge the card then refund after I leave, which everyone else does didn't think of it at the time. So I had to give $200, which they were not going to refund 24hrs after I left onto my card. Finally, I could get my refund when I checked out, but I had to wait until 9-10am when someone is on the desk. So I checked out late, no one at the desk for 5mins, then told I can't get my refund until 12, yes mad and guess what no one on the desk at 12, which I did not think of at the time. Did get my refund after they reckon I was told I could not get my money until 12, something I would remember., since I did leave Sydney at 12. So desk not manned when stated, room not ready at 2pm and no tea & coffee in room so mute that it was free. That wouldn't brother me but the Bond, fix the problem as not everyone has a credit card.
I stayed at posh hotel on December 07 On my check in I was advised that I had to pay $175 as room bond. I tried to pay with my credit card and was told I could only pay cash(which I found strange). On checking out the following morning I asked for my bond back and I was told it was company policy that the money will not be refunded in cash but will be paid back to my card within 3 days. It is not almost 8 weeks and I have still not been refunded. I have sent several emails but have not had any response. I have called over 50 times and have never been able to talk with a manager. I only get the receptionists and they tell me there is nothing they can do without the managers approval. (Apparently they have lost my check in details). I have sent them a copy of my booking, credit card and passport. Even Orbitz have been it touch with them to confirm. I have a feeling that this hotel reception is running a scam and are keeping the cash. I cannot go to the hotel now as I am overseas and they know this. So to anyone who stays at posh hotel Sydney beware if they ask for a room bond in cash.

The room was horrible, the air conditioner though working was extremely noisy, I didn't know whether my room was locked or not as the key lock wasn't working properly, the coffee cups were dirty, there was water in the shower as if someone had a shower before I arrived. The lobby was dirty with bits of paper and rubbish. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
