We are coming to visit Sydney for three days. Found this hotel through some research- This hotel is only 15 mins from Sydney airport and very close to Central station meaning you can gain access to most sightseeing locations in short time. Yes it is reasonably cost effective. It also offers excellent family room and nice/new bathroom. Highly recommend if you are looking for hotel with convenient location and low cost.
I only gave this place a 1 star because i couldn't give it a zero. I stayed in this hotel with my son and a friend for 1 night paying $350 for the night very over priced... when we arrived we just put all our bags on the bed and went for dinner when we came back we had a chance to actually check out the place.. The dust was so thick it made my friends asthma play up all night . I pulled back my bed to find a scab from someone that had stayed before us and also a lot of hair .when we continued to check things out we found that my bed was held up by bricks with and inch of dust under the bed.. my sons bed was missing the slats in the middle of the bed he also had stains on his sheets and hair everywere .. the other bed was on the floor and there was food and hair on the mattress. also there was blood stains on the mattress with no mattress protector . Our view was a brick wall .our toilet had come stains( yes thats what i said ) on the lid. Mould in the bathroom cupboard that was very thick. Our free tea and coffee pfftt we had a jug but no tea and coffee not even a coffee cup the only thing we had were glass cups with lipstick stains and that were that dirty they looked white. We had no towels we had to go ask for some . Our doona was yellow and did not have and cover at all on it. When we checked out there was no one at reception we had to place our key in a jar on the bench.. I have tried to speak with the manager but keep getting the run around saying i should call back .. this place should be shut down it is not fit for anyone to stay here .especially after reading all the other reviews on here
When I checked in I was handed one Styrofoam cup, one plastic stirrer, a sachet of International Roast and a small tub of UHT milk and was told that this was the complimentary coffee. I knew at this point that this stay would not bode well. I had been told I had been given a free upgrade (surprisingly they didn't demand a 5 star review unlike others on here have mentioned which is why I suspect there are so many 5 star reviews because nothing in this "hotel" is 5 star) When I entered my room it had four beds along one wall, a TV on the opposite wall a very small cupboard, inside was the bar fridge. The floor felt dirty and after checking the sheets I decided to sleep in the single bed as the bigger beds had dirty sheets with brown stains on them. The bathroom had no door and the light didn't work (did have to travel down to reception as there was no phone in the room but the front desk was unattended). The only good thing about the room was the shower, two big shower heads above with six small shower heads (three on each side) vertically along the wall. Apart from that one good thing the rest of the room and stay was atrocious and have stayed in much better for less (including backpackers). I will not be staying again and would recommend anyone to either find somewhere else for the same price or paying a little extra so you at least have the basics done correctly.
This is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. In fact, BATES Motel would be better than staying here. So to begin with, I booked a room with my partner’s credit card but had my name on the booking. Got an email asking if my partner would be staying? I emailed and said yes he would be checking in. Day of arrival. NIGHTMARE from HELL. Prior to arriving I called the hotel and asked about parking overnight I was told to drive to the hotel first and check in. Nowhere to park in the front of the hotel so parked down a back street and rang hotel. A young female came and told me to drive down a couple of streets to find the carpark. What an experience. Eventually found the carpark, which was the size of a matchbox, dark, dingy, and full of the hotels rubbish. ($45AUD for the privilege) The doorway to the hotel is very small and reception none existent. Gave the receptionist my credit card and drivers licence which she photocopied (not a good idea) Then a man appeared who stated he was the security Manager OMG scary and very odd, rings on each finger and a big gold necklace. He was aggressive and kept asking where my partner was. I told him over ten times that he would be arriving a little late as he was held up at work. Nope still did not listen, and then informed me that I could not check in. It was 14:20 in the afternoon. After a while, another man arrived who said he was the hotel Manager. Slightly nicer but by this time I was frustrated and wanted to know why I could not check in. I called my partner and asked him to speak to the Manager, which he did. In the end, I finally got a room key room 201. Got to room finally after falling over a vacuum cleaner, which had been left at the entrance of the lift on level two. Opened the door to my room and it was dirty and not serviced. Back to reception and the Security Manager was still querying why I was allowed to check in (weird) I was told that I had to wait another hour for my room. I said do not bother I will book another hotel. In the end got a room key for 501. (Told I had been upgraded) Arrived at the room it was very basic no tea and coffee, no phone in the room and no lock on the door. Went back to reception and asked for tea and coffee. I was told they had run out of coffee but got two tea bags as compensation. This hotel in NOT POSH it is a joke. Security is a problem with no extra locks on the doors. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. However if you want a scary night in a dodgy hotel then this is the hotel for you. However, you will get no sleep, as it is very noisy
Right near central station so close to everything, price was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Room was very modern feeling and clean. Would definitely stay again when i need to be right in the city.

I'm so grateful for this hotel & the staff, they are the first people you see when you step in and they are very helpful and cherpy making it a great stay. The room is great and the staff service is expectional. My wife and I will come back again and enjoy our stay once again. So happy & love this hotel !
Posh hotel was one of the best hotel. There was great customer service with great staff really looked after us. The rooms were immaculate and honestly I will defiantly come back. The staff, location all of it was great.
If you want stay in this hotel please bring ur own toilet paper and bring patience too. Yeh they don’t provide toilet paper and also no hot water. The room is ok and clean but never again and worth. Location is ok but not service, the reception staff are terrible and the manager and security manager are completely crazy. I am disappointed. Photos on web site are very deceiving. Please be aware if you decide to stay here. Terrible.
This hotel was not for me. I got there and the door bell wasn't working so I was locked out in the street. Then I was calling them and they hung up on me? Eventually I got in and got over that. The next day another girl was in the same situation but I was able to let her in. The room and the bathroom was dirty. The slats in the bed had all fallen out. At least 2 times it sounded like someone was trying to check if my door was lock in the middle of the night!! I could hear people walking around in the halls all night I ended up getting sick and having to check out early and they wouldn't refund me for the next night because they wanted 48 hours notice. :( I had to rush off to the airport and only the manager could do the security deposit refund so they said I'd have to wait. Then they said they have a copy of my card so they can do it later. It was just a terrible experience. Especially being on my own, I really didn't feel safe.
