The location of the hotel is very good, between Darling Harbor and City Center. My room was quiet but there are a lot of construction sites around. The apartment is big but very dusty, especially the windows, I think they didn't wash the windows for a long time. The furniture is old and bad quality, a lot of spots on the coach and on the chair, I put a blanket on the coach to sit on it. The bathroom is very big too, old but in good shape. The sheets were very old and used but clean. Overall is a good price for Sydney city center but it needs renovation to be a really good hotel.
Arrived early and left luggage at hotel. It's a 2 minute walk to coffee cafes and 15 minutes to The Rocks. Wonderful staff, basic amenities (2 small bars of soap, 1 shampoo / body-lotion / conditioner, small refrig & microwave, 2 burner cook top, coolware, utensils, dishes, a bath towel for each person, 1 bath hand towel, 1 kitchen towel), good TV selection, small balcony (no furniture) would stay again if price was right
close to train station, tourist sites, adequate laundry facilities, adequate kitchenette and dinette. worth the money.
The place is a good value-for-money place. The room was spacious and clean, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The building itself does not look very charming (it is built right under highway), but the location is very convenient and you can go anywhere in the city.Highly recommended!
the room was very large with great storage and a Balcony! You need to stay for 5 days to get housekeeping. They have internet, but you have to pay. No free internet was the only problem.
We wanted to stay in the Darling Harbour area and finding a place to stay that was affordable was not easy to find. This is a great place for the money. You do need to do some work on your end, such as empty the trash and you will not get your linens or towels replaced unless you stay for at one week. No big deal since we don't replace our towels daily at home. This was definitely worth it and while we were exploring Sydney, we kept saying to ourselves how central our accommodations were for all the sights.
