Where do I start $15 a night for internet that does not work at most took me 35mins to load 1 page ! And the noise from the main road all night long is not mentioned at all slept max 2hrs on and of for 3 nights in a row which ruined the rest of the days , why is there a pool pic on trip advisor ? As the main photo, no pool here ? Don’t stay here !!!!
Really Polite and nice staff. Awesome location. In front of Wnyard station. Coles supermarket nearby. We walked to opera house, circular quay, rocks etc as weather was lovely. Also can take train. The apartment was all neat clean well kept and fully equipped with kitchen with everything you need. Visited in last week of october. really good weather
We stayed for three nights as a base while we explored Sydney. We had been recommended this apartment by Hightide Holidays. On our arrival which was early the room was not ready but the staff were pleasant, and checked in our luggage so we could head off to check out Sydney. On our return we entered the room to discover that the toilet had not been cleaned properly, so we brought this to the attention of the staff and they inspected, apologised and offered us another room. We inspected the other room and when lifting the toilet seat we found that it was not secured on one side causing the seat to move around on the toilet base. So we elected to stay in existing room but the staff indicated they would have the cleaners return to clean the toilet properly. This occurred later. The room was spacious but there was a smell everytime you entered it and i could not track what the smell was or where it was coming from. The maintenance and upkeep on the room was poor, the sink had been sealed on the top with silicon instead of removing the sink and resealing, looked terrible. But not only that the electrical switches were dirty and the hand towel honder needs repair. But the three things that were most objectional was the noise from the roadway that runs next to the apartment, no sheet supplied between the bed sheet covering the mattress and the doona cover. Lastly they have a sign saying they are serviced apartments, but they are only serviced when you leave, the three days were were there it was up to us to tidy our clean the room. This would be terrible for a longer stay. All in all we could not recommend this establishment to anyone else.
Stayed here for 3 nights prior to a cuise, maybe not the most attractive from outside, but inside it has all needed for a comfortable stay.We booked a studio apartment, which had an surprising amount of space, separate living and sleeping areas, and ample wardrobe space. The complete apartment was spotless and well laid out with a small kitchen, not that we used it due to the closeness of all the restaurants on Barangaroo Warf. Excellent location, short walk to Barangaroo, Martin Place for a coffee or any of the local attractions, train and bus stations are also only a short walk. Laundry facilities are also available on the lower level of the building.
We stayed here for 2 nights - 2 adults 1 child. A rollaway bed was incl in the lounge. This is very basic accom option but perfect if you intend to explore the city all day and only return to sleep. Our room was cleanish on arrival. We didn’t use any of the plates/cutlery etc. Rules are to clean them, but no liquid provided, so were a bit cautious. Room is located in the central city so expect a bit of noise - we had no trouble sleeping. Beds comfy. Reception staff so lovely. We came early and left our bags, and when we returned they had taken them to our room. On departure we had a late flight and they were more than happy to look after our bags securely for the day. Really appreciated this!
Bed was very clean and comfortable, however, the room was not very clean and had obviously not had a deep clean for some time. Walls were very grubby, skirtings were dirty and the curtains, which should have been white, were a very dingy grey. There was mould around the sink and shower in the bathroom, which was unpleasant. We decided to make the best of it as we were there for only three nights and did not spend too much time in the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone despite its good location.
We drove our relatives to Sydney from Qld for a few nights so we looked for a self-contained apartment so we can save on food since there's 6 of us travelling. I must say, the space is the best! Huge spaces from bathroom to bedrooms and living area. It has a balcony so we can watch the city during rush hour but surprisingly, the outside noise did not bother us even at night. Best location since everything is walking distance --- circular quay, the rocks, sea life, Elizabeth St Mall, Harbour Bridge, Chinatown- Paddington Market even a block away from the nearest 24hr Woolies. It's just across the train station as well. Just needs updating since stained floors needs to be redone; tiles and furniture a bit old--- especially the carpets. It's still clean and pleasant though but a little bit of refurbish will definitely be perfect. Also, since we were not familiar with the roads in Sydney CBD, it took us trouble just to find this as it was smack in the middle of the intersection. Clear big signs of the hotel would be a help as well.
We have stayed here for 2 weeks. The staff have been lovely and really helpful. Our room is well furnished and clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable. There are cooking facilities, hot plate and microwave which mean that you can cook yourself a small meal. It is very central, near a major rail station and within easy walking distance of city centre, Darling Harbour and the Sydney harbour bridge and Opera House.
A location walkable to all important places, be it opera house, circular quay, Sydney harbour bridge, darling harbour, rock or Pitt Street a shoppers paradise and that's what tourist is looking for..very efficient staff, swift check in and perfectly rather aptly furnished apartment...one thing I would feel like pointing to touring fraternity, rather would also seek a response....I normally prefer to stay in an apartment because of larger space, a kitchenette, balcony and more or less economy...in relation to hotels....am I justified or wrong stay here and respond back.....thank you Napoleon on Kent you delivered a stay appreciable
If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel near the quay this is ok. But if you can be located elsewhere in the CBD try an alternative. One of those privately owned apartments where cleaning/maintenance and décor are at a minimum. If you are on the roadside be prepared for a dark room; don't expect anything very pleasant.
