Excellent location but very dismal looking from outside. Reception staff were lovely and very obliging. Thats where it ends. Even tho the price was alot less than others I did not expect the room to be so bad. The smell of deodarizer in hall was overpowering . The cleanliness left alot to be desired and the furnishing were dirty. Carpet, curtains and couch yuk. My standards are certainly not high but man this really was a disappointment. Kitchen equipment not clean and overall condition of walls, bathroom fittings etc was just awful. No top sheet provided either. Actually asked not to have the same room on the return from cruise but the next one was worse. Sorry but will certainly not be back. A little effort by the cleaners and the apartment owners and this could be a reasonable place to stay. Obviously cleanliness does not bother some people but in this case I think you get what you pay for

Although Napoleon on Kent is shall we say a little tired..the front desk staff are lovely and very helpful. Room clean..and larger than average facilities with clean bathroom...a little noisy from traffic.. although I found this comforting, it could agitate a light sleeper. Location is excellent, easy to navigate from airport via train..close to Pitt St Mall.. and business end of Harbour Lots of food choices...The accomodation prices are reasonable for location although the days I visited Ed Sherran was playing all pricing was inflated through out city during my travel dates.. I would stay again..location location.. fantastic value. Happy Travels Ps if driving they have parking at $35 a night when I visited..

Came into the place and was nice, central and close to the train station. Upon entering the staff were friendly and helped to hold our bags and placed them in the room when ready while we were looking around Sydney. Upon entering the room it was nice with a small kitchen and room but inspecting we found holes in the wall, cracked tiles and bathroom sink, tiles faded. For the price we paid during week not on a peak time, before Easter we expected more and fresher rooms. The only thing going is a comfy bed, location walking distance to train and wharf and the bridge but to pricey, maybe staying at the adina or others may present better for price

The hotel is very small, the rooms are not the cleanest I have seen, the bed is not very comfortable, but it does not matter. The location is wonderful and it compensastes for everything else. It is close to the main atractions in Sydney and to the Wynyard train station. Easy access to anywhere in Sydney.

Handy location to Wynyard Station ... that’s about the best I have to say about this place. Even a good scrub with bleach and some elbow grease to doors, walls, light switches probably would struggle to bring it up to liveable standard. Had to use a knife to open balcony door latch, place was grubby, stale, noisy ... I stripped the bed and asked for fresh made, smelt like old friend food shop. Rude reception staff, did the basics and no more. The lounge was too nasty to risk sitting on ... needed a serious steam clean. I’ve put better lounges out for local council verge collection. Def won’t be back. I’m starting to smell as stale as the room and I’ve only been here 2 hours. Waiting on the cleaning people to remake beds and bring a sheet to cover the lounge so I can sit on it at least. Mattress protector had stains on it. Not game to walk barefoot on floor!

Wonderful location, just a brisk 10 minute walk from Circular Quay. No need for a car here as its only a few hundred yards from Wynyard train station, where there is a lift facility for luggage to and from the concourse. The reception stays open until 20:00hours after that, you need to advise them in advance, they have a safe facility for late check in that works well. Once inside our room was spacious and well equipped. A good size kitchen, living and dining area and a good bedroom. The bedroom had a large comfy double bed and was quiet, not having any outside walls helped with noise and light. The bathroom was well equipped and comes with both a bath and shower, quality toiletries are supplied. Although somewhat dated in its decor, the positives far out weigh that. Without a doubt easy to recommend and I will look forward to staying again.

Beautiful apartment and comfortable beds. My only probably was the hotel was pictured to have a pool and we couldn’t find the pool 😢 the lounge room/bedroom was beautiful in size, the bed was a queen I believe and the lounge room had a 2 seater lounge and a tv. Our balcony was facing construction work, luckily the construction work wasn’t to loud the Thursday morning. I will be staying there again. But I would hope next time to be able to find a sign to go to the pool.

One of the more affordable stays in the CBD in a town that otherwise charges exorbitant rates per night for most hotels however you get what you pay for. I will say I found the one bedroom apartment clean on 1st sight however the smell of mould, dusty curtains settles in and doesn’t go away, sticky dining chairs and sinking bed add to the disappointment. Also there is no daily room clean, only for guests staying more than 7 nights. My stay of 4 nights came no fresh towels when requested. Will not stay here again. Another affordable option if you book ahead is Travelodge Wentworth Avenue, much better for a similar price.

I'm giving this place a 5 star rating mostly based on how reasonable the cost is for the location and the size of the room. It is not to be compared to luxury accommodation but my room was a large studio apartment, very clean with an excellent bathroom/ shower. ll amenities provided. You can walk to circular quay in under ten mins, barangaroo, wynyard and martin place are all so close by. I loved the location and would stay here again. If you are looking to spend lots of time in the apartment you may opt for somewhere else but the price and location in my opinion is hard to beat for Sydney CBD. Always felt safe in the area and the block is secure and only accessible after 4pm by those staying. I stayed on my own for 4 nights and the kitchen had everything i needed to make a good breakfast. It has a balcony but as you're on a busy road you won't use it. There is traffic noise so be wary of this when you book but it wasn't very loud. Those who seem to be giving this place poor reviews seemed to be oblivious to it's location!

Accomodation was adequate. Apartment was a little tired looking , and in need of a refresh. Amenities in the room were average. As the room was quite dark , I felt that could have been brighter lighting. Tap over the sink in the kitchen area was very wobbly - had to be very carefull when turning it on and off. Apartments were central and convenient to the cbd and Wynyard train station. It was Chinese New Year and the city was very busy. If you like crowds , it was great , if you didn’t , avoid !!
