Metro Apartments on Darling Harbour - Sydney

Superb location; friendly, helpful staff. Two level self contained apartment had most amenities although if you want to eat in there are only minimal utensils. Great views and located close to restaurants and everything in the city and Darling Harbour. The carpet, unfortunately was very stained and although probably clean, just looked really dirty. Two nights was average price this location. A little noisy at night but it is the hub and expected. Once again the location was worth it.

Overall dont think we will be back . Definetly wasnt satisfied with the apartment i paid for for my family's first holiday in 5 or so years. The bed washing machine and toilet are three of the most important things when renting somewhere to stay and to have problems with all 3 really isn't acceptable considering the price per night we paid for top accommodation. I wanted to give my family the very best possible accommodation and i will say i was disappointed.

The location is excellent. The room however needs some updating with sofa bed - mattress was stained and needs replacing. and stair carpet needs replacing, bath enamel also needs repair, the air conditioner needs cleaning and the room blinds are also in need of an update.

We were very happy to have found this hotel, we enjoyed the view, the kitchen facility, the beautiful room and being able to fit a family of four at this price was fantastic. The proximity to Darling Harbour and other great sites in Sydney were another great bonus for us. We loved it and the price was a great deal.

We loved our stay here. The price was unbeatable, the views are spectacular and the location is perfect. We did have a problem with a broken sofa bed but the staff were very helpful resolving the issue. Our 7 year old daughter absolutely loved the loft set up, though I wouldn't recommend for younger children. We will definitely be back to stay again!

The hotel was awesome, very comfy home away from home. The view was excellent. Better than we expected. Found it was a little too far away from most things. Spent a fortune on uber. All transport seems to revolve around Central. But found out this isn't so central. However if you want to hang around the casino and Darling Harbor, this is definitely the place to stay. Also within walking distance to Chinatown and shopping.

Friendly staff, spacious room, awesome location ... little bit of traffic noise - but to be expected in city. balcony great - but needs a spruce up. nice view of darling harbour (4th floor). Excellent restaurants nearby (great salads at Peace harmony on King st.

We were going to a concert at the Opera House, and just needed a place to stay for the night. This hotel is easy walking distance to both Town Hall and Wynyard stations, and easy access to Darling Harbour. Perfect for a central city location! We had a one bedroom apartment to share between four people, and our loft apartment had a double bed and a double sofa. Feedback on the sofa was that it was adequate, about as comfy as sofas ever get, but the actual bed was very good. The room was quite small, but the loft gave it more room for all of us, so we didn't feel cramped at all. The bathroom was reasonable, with a shower over the bath, and a washer/dryer was also present. Kitchen came with tea and coffee, and had everything that was needed. Desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us two extra keys to the room so that we could each have one. The lifts were a bit dubious, and the doors had a tendency to start opening before the lift had completely stopped, and they clunked a bit as well, but they got us to where we needed to be in one piece. All in all, for a well-priced hotel in Darling Harbour, this was a great find, and served its purpose well.

Just across the street from access to Darling Harbor. What better location could it be? The room was very good and included a kitchen, but on two levels with bedroom/bath upstairs. Not good for wheel chair or walker users. The staff was exceptional in accommodating our every request and are on site from early morning to 10 pm to handle late check-ins. Street noise is an issue but tolerable. Metro Apts certainly met and exceeded our needs.

We are from Melbourne , base on the location, and the price , it,s good for family stay, save quite a lot for public transport, walk along Sussex st , easy go to china town, and Sydney tower just on the corner.. ....But, only one suggestion for this apartment- it ‘s time to upgrade all your mattress.
