Great location Loved the industrial styling All staff were pleasant and helpful Room and bathroom were clean and well equipped Free movies and good size TV The free mini bar was an excellent bonus The pool area looked fresh and clean
Couldn't fault our two night stay with kids. Had a day at wet n wild and a promo night at the drive in. The kids watched free movies in the room and used every last drop of free wifi. We loved the pool complete with flamingo float (my only suggestion would be to make the pool a few degrees warmer - it was a bit fresh to be really relaxing). The breakfast was fine, the facilities fun for everyone. The free mini bar promotion really won this mum's heart! The Caddy looks so cool, the pool table amused the boys for the morning and the retro arcade game is a nice touch. Even the cushions are fun! Special mention to the bar staff who are the most helpful and friendly ladies I've ever met in a hotel, anywhere. The bed was super comfy and we had a great sleep both nights. The place was packed but it had no impact on our stay. Thanks so much. We are gold Accor loyalty members and get many benefits at their hotels, but Atura offers a better short break than any Accor property so join their program for free and enjoy - we can't wait to come back. Hot tip: stay at atura, get a cabana at wet n wild and live like a celebrity for a day!
The industrial type decor may not be to everyone's taste but I thought it looked good. The room was very clean, a good size and the bed was really comfy. The facilities were very good and the staff were all friendly.
Atura Hotel is not what you’d expect to find tucked away near bushland in Sydney’s west. Modern, quirky & excellent value. Loved cooling ourselves in the gorgeous pool & sipping on sweet strawberry daiquiris. Rydges’ famed Dream Beds certainly live by its name. Slept like a logs. Big choice of free in-room movies & for a limited time there’s a free daily mini bar with beers, soft drink, chips, chocolate & lollies. Big bonus! We were treated to a delicious dessert plate to celebrate our Valentine’s stay. Trendy rooms have a microwave, sink, espresso coffee machine & marvellous Malin & Goetz bathroom toiletries. They smell so good! The hotel also stocks a range of snacks including meals to heat up in your room. Atura is flanked by a drive-in theatre & a quaint old style pub with an amusement water park just up the road. Hint: Ask for Andrea - super friendly & super efficient. Love being treated like VIP guests as that’s what makes us want to re-stay.
The rooms, though streamlined, were like concrete bunkers, but with curtains. Our room was riddled with little, black, flying bugs that were driving us crazy, so we slept under blankets, and amped up the air conditioner. Despite the instructions we couldn't get the coffee machine to work. No shower gel provided, so bring your own! Despite the request for an extra towel, as the room was shared by 2 female work colleagues, both with long hair, it never arrived.
My first pleasant surprise was when the reception mentioned that the mini bar was on the house. I was a little concerned on how to get my late night nibbles seeing there is not much around the hotel (from my limited knowledge). The room was very nice and modern and the internet worked beautifully. Only thing missing was slippers in the room. That would have taken my rating to 5*.
Surprisingly great hotel in the middle of nowhere! Had a conference in Blacktown of all places and the destination of choice was the Atura. It looked great on the website and in person the hotel didn't disappoint. The decor was super pleasing and the staff where pleasant and attentive. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean!! Bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby... even WITH the drive in (yes.. a drive in) going next door. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious .... both machine made and barista coffee available and plentiful. Highly recommend the hotel if you find yourself out that way.
This is a new motel, very modern and crisp. The rooms are spacious and the beds are heavenly. The service is very good, the breakfast room was very busy with lots of families in, perhaps this is because of its close proximity to Wet and Wild. The buffet is good with some nice additions. There is a nice pool, and a billiards table inside, so the kids will be occupied while in house.
We booked this hotel as we wanted to take advantage of the date night package. The Hotel Staff were very friendly and accommodating, we were welcomed with a smile and were checked in promptly despite interruptions from other guests. A part of the date night package was a 2 course meal per person, due to the portion size of the Entree's and Deserts there is more than enough to share and enjoy both servings. Main meals, The Sirloin was cooked to my liking and the Salmon was crispy outside and tender inside. Lunch entailed the Road House Burger which was more than enough for one person and the Onion rings were lightly coated and cooked to perfection. Breakfast the next morning was average, unfortunately, there wasn't much variety to pick from and the food was warm at best.
I would say this would be one of the best hotels i have stayed in. The rooms were fresh and clean , the beds were comfortable and the shower was great (always have issues with shower hotels). The contents of the mini bar were free which was a bonus . We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were amazing. Check in and out was a breeze , could not fault this hotel at all. Also prices were great. Although we didn't use the pool area , it also looked amazing . Will be back for sure. Oh and the hotel lobby was outstanding , lounges, pool table tv screens across the wall, old school video game and apple macs to use :)
