The property itself is adequate for a short stay however it is old, run down and in desperate need of a refurbishment. Carpets very worn. Two single beds pushed together. Limited bedding which I did eventual find extra stashed in a closet. Cleanliness was not an issue and the studio had everything you need for a stay available to you. Location for Chatswood is excellent and very convenient for trains and metro as well as having all the shops and restaurants nearby. The property management however is average at best. Confusing and inconsistent messaging. I was repeatedly asked to provide my ID and details via emails and text messages which in the age of frequent online scamming made me uncomfortable. Also being asked to make payments outside of the Expedia platform again via third party links etc was not a great experience including requiring a upfront holding deposit before checkin details are provided. The address of the property I was provided was wrong and I had to check and correct the hosting company on this a few times. The afterhours checkin process was a totally insane process of requiring me walk quite a distance from the property through Chatswood station through to a sketchy back alley to find a lock box at the back entrance to a random restaurant.
