The "Staff" is friendly and extremely nice everyone at this hotel which tends to be rare these days, Kunal and Justin were excellent!! This hotel is in a great location very close to restaurants and shopping. Very clean and comfortable beds stay includes breakfast which is always a plus...
This facility did not have the quality we expect from a Fairfield Inn. In our first room the toilet did not flush. The clerk was very good and brought up keys for another room right down the hall. In that room, the refrigerator didn't work, there was no do not disturb sign, the shower door did not close, mold around the base of the shower, when we first turned on the shower dirt (?) ran down the walls as if it had not been rinsed. There was a big group of young teenagers and the food was a bit scarce when we went for breakfast. So, nothing horrid just a bunch of things a little off.
This was my second stay at this location. Since I was late checking in, the handicap room was my consolation prize. Next morning I went down for breakfast at 9, left the "Do not disturb" card on the door, returned at 10, removed the card and left for the day. Returned that evening around 5:30 and the room hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk and the man there was extremely apologetic and made no excuse but did bring clean towels. Breakfast each day was OK, nothing special but adequate. Overall, the hotel is very nice, rooms are clean and attractive, pool looked inviting, and the staff couldn't have been nicer.
We checked in around 10AM, exhausted from helping an elderly relative move. We presented a current coupon that had been obtained from the GA welcome center. They claimed they were full. Funny we had the only non-employee car in the parking lot which was wide open!
Typical experience in terms of the room, the standard Fairfield breakfast, and the mini-mart in the lobby. The room was VERY overpriced, as they were the most expensive night of our trip which included stays in equivalent (or better) properties in Orlando and Atlanta. The room was clean, and it had clearly been recently renovated, yet you could still tell the shell of the hotel is still dated. Window mounted air conditioner worked fine. The new glass enclosed shower was a nice touch. WiFi was strong. What was far below par was the front desk. They had apparently oversold the hotel for the one night my colleagues and I were planning to be there, due to two different conferences in the area. They called one of my colleagues on multiple occasions requesting that he consider changing hotels to another property more than 45 minutes away (we were already 15 minutes north of where we wanted to be), and he was offered the night + points if he agreed. Due to our early morning business meetings with our local company, he declined the request to move. That didn't seem to be enough, as the hotel kept calling him back to ask whether he would reconsider. He repeatedly told them he could not accept the move. When we finally arrived, they allowed him to check in, but then turned to me and asked if I would be willing to move to the other property. Really? The guy clearly wasn't thinking things through when he asked me to consider separating myself from my travelling group, particularly after my colleague had repeatedly them no. The guy also claimed he had been calling me repeatedly all day, but I never received a single call. I told him so, and he suggested I go into my account and double check my phone number...I did, and it was totally correct. Not sure what games they are playing there, but their credibility and honesty were lacking. Based on the way he was going after moving people, it's possible someone was hosed out of a room that night, but at 10:00 PM, if he could still check us in, I'm thinking things were probably ok. They need to work their property management and communication processes. Not impressed. Won't return. Won't suggest the place to other colleagues who travel there often for business. Normally plenty of other options nearby.
Stayed at this location 3/2 - 3/5 and ny honey and I are looking forward to future stays. The hotel smells so good upon entering and everything was so clean. The staff were really nice and the free breakfast was pretty good. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, gas stations, stores, and it's close enough to Atlanta so that you can get there in no time but you don't have to worry so much about the Atlanta hustle and bustle. I had an amazing time. The bed and pillows were sooooo comfortable. I loved, loved, loved the walk in shower and the water pressure was so powerful it literally beat the dirt off of me. Lol!!! It felt AMAZING!!!! If you're looking for a great place to stay (clean,safe,comfortable...) please consider Fairfield Inn and Suites Suwanee. You will not be disappointed.
This place is immaculate. Since Jan until now Feb 15 I have spent 17 nights in hotels. This place is clean nd staff is very nice. It is a little farther out of Atlanta than I wanted, but it was only one night. When I checked in I ws peeved because I really don't think this should be marketed as Atlanta. The person who checked me in Kumal was soon nice and smiley, I just couldn't stay mad. Two thumbs up on that magic, because I was all calmed down by the time I was in my room and that normally doesn't happen. Thanks Kumal.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is quiet even though it is close to the Interstate and right off the exit. The entrance is not marked as well as it needs to be. When we got in we were immediately given an upgrade; the front desk person was very friendly and personable. The shower heads are very good and have high water volume and pressure. Breakfast is typical Fairfield Inn and is well prepared and good quality.
We have stayed at this motel over 2 dozen times. We have never had a bad time at the motel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the renovated facility is great. I would recommend this facility to any people who are located near Suwanee.
This property has been there awhile, but must have been renovated recently. The hall carpet seemed brand new. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nice desk design, with the separate table on wheels. I always appreciate having a small fridge in a hotel room. Great fitness area, and breakfast had everything I needed. Friendly staff. Don't forget, if you turn right out of the hotel, this brings you to McGinnis Ferry. If you need to cross 85 (but not get on it), this could save some time.
