No swimming pool, restaurant quite limited in options and expensive. But convenient and well priced to go walking to the terminal.
The hotel is in walking distance from the airport and is OK for a one night stay. It has not much ambience. The room is fine, although the bed was not hard enough for me. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. Parking in front of the hotel.
we have used this hotel just for one night before our flight to Tenerife. From the main railwaystation we went by S-Bahn directly to the airport and the hotel was situated opposite the airport building, so very convenient for our flight next day. In the evening we have searched the vicinity, there is a fair-trade ground on the other side and on the airport you can visit many shops including a supermarket. The hotel is very pleasant with sufficient and tasty breakfast. There is a free coffee in the lobby. Rooms are comfortable with coffee tea facility. Staff was also very pleasant. We recomment this hotel. Formarly we wanted to use this hotel also on our way back, but somewhere I have found the information, that the reception is opened to 11 p.m. only, but obviously it was wrong information.
I would like to thank Mrs S Roth, the front desk staff of Wyndham Stuttgart Airport Meade Hotel. My wife has back pain. Mrs Roth was so helpful to find a suitable mattress for her after the first night. We'll spend a total of 6 nights in the hotel. Her helpfulness has created a pleasant stay for us. Just want to say Thank You.
Friendly staff and great location. Would have been better if the air conditioning had worked but the staff was accommodating to our needs. Nice feature was acces to grocery and airpot amenities which helped us to save a little money.
Very conveniently located 200 m away from the airport. Great rooms and free wifi. Good connectivity to the rest of the city with the Metro next door. If you have an early morning flight to catch from Stuttgart, look no further.
Room was good - spacious. Desk was good - plug ins available for electronics. Good TV. Windows able to open wide for ventilation. Hard to get in and out of tub due to height of tub - and I'm a fairly tall person.
The room is clean, and roomy for a hotel in Europe. Close to the airpot but wasn't noisy. Overall it's a standard hotel, nothing to write home about. It's good that it has parking but it's $14 a night.
The staff was quite unefficient or undiplomatic! The main desk could be optimized for check-in. The meal took very long to be served, not taking into account that they forgot my plate. It took a long time to get the receipts for a 20EUR lunch! My customer experience with the service could have been better. The infrastructure is good.
Having had a less than positive experience when i first stayed at this hotel on business, i thought i would give it a second chance but having since stayed at the (admittedly slightly more expensive) Movenpick opposite, there is no comparison. Issues: - Majority of the staff on reception are un-interested and unhelpful. - At check in, you are asked for your passport details (not uncommon on a first visit), which they take down, then un-necessarily ask you to enter all over again on the check in form, even if you have stayed here before. By contrast, the Movenpick opposite do not ask for a passport at all for EU citizens and checking in was a breeze, with helpful and friendly staff to welcome you - The whole check in / out process is dire for a European hotel - my team waited over 30 minutes to check out in the morning when we had a client workshop to get to and a taxi waiting - the staff were dis-organised and the process chaotic, with no order and people pushing in left right and centre and with each check out taking around 10-15 minutes to complete - the aircon in the room did not work at all on both visits - when returning from a night out, we did not realise that our taxi did not take cards and we had no cash on us to cover the cost. The reception staff were not prepared to change money for us or charge cash to a card, stating that we would just have to go into the airport compound and find a cash machine there to draw some out - the room i was in was very badly designed - there was a step up from the room to the bathroom and no warning notice of it, resulting in my tripping on it in the night and breaking a toe, resulting in not being able to walk properly for the rest of the trip - the wardrobe in the room was nothing short of farcical, with depth of about a foot, rendering it impossible to hang anything at all in it - even their own hangers would not fit and the door would not close because of how shallow it was (picture evidence available). No iron either... - no seats available at breakfast at 07:30 and the coffee machine delivered cold coffee - the wireless is useless - didn't work at all in my room, which is hardly ideal for a business traveller In summary, if you are on business and have to stay at Stuttgart airport, stay at the Movenpick. Otherwise find a hotel in town.
