Novum Hotel Boulevard Stuttgart City

Booked in for a weekend stay for the Stuttgart beer festival, the room was quite small but were told we should have booked a double rather than a queen room. Rooms themselves had everything you needed and bed was comfortable for a good nights sleep. The location of the hotel is excellent with numerous bars, restaurants and fast food places dotted around close by. Train and tram services are a stones throw away with excellent transport options to visit the festival or any other sight seeing trips you may wish to make. All in all I would definitely book again if visiting Stuttgart

Typical European 'business' hotel. It is quite outdated and needs modernising however the location is superb. It is in the middle of town and despite this our room was quiet all night. The room itself had 3 people in comfortably. It has a TV with 0 English channels (not a complaint, this is Germany), a bathroom with a fantastically hot and powerful shower and a lift straight out of the 60s. Breakfast was limited, though shout out to the orange juice machine. It is cold and beautiful. The scrambled eggs looked like they may get up and walk but the continental option was great and enough to choose from. If I was visiting the volksfest again, I would happily use this hotel because despite it being dated, the price reflects this and it doesn't claim to be anything else. Friendly multilingual staff and a McDonald's 10 seconds across the road for all your late night burger needs.

Well located for sure, very convenient from that piont of view. But small compact rooms, a bit on the TOO small size for couples, no air-conditioning can be a problem on warmer nights, staff at reception ok. Free wifi tops their list of benefits. Just don't count on it. It is pretty much useless at the times you really need it. Had to go to local shopping centre to be able to get wifi. Was no trouble there, so obviously good service is available, just not at the Novum. Complaints yield response, you are the only one, so must be ok. Clearly they don't read their reviews.. There's a few expressing similar sentiment. Having said that staff were generally helpful. Due to this and over-priced breakfast, really more of a 2.75 than 3 star.

The hotel is very noisy, especially the "superior" rooms which are right on the main street and there doesn't seem to be much noise insulation. The rooms are not air-conditioned, and get very hot, which means you need to sleep with the window open (more noise). The hotel looks very old and is need of a complete make-over. Other than that, rooms are spacious and nothing seriously wrong with them. But given a choice, I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Simple no hassle checking in , fantastic location and clean !! That's all you need really ! Right in the centre close to shops and 5 mins from bars restaurants. Hotel not to modern but more than adequate

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Novum Hotel is a basic hotel, clean and comfy one. It is in a good location, just in the city center, 5 minutes from the S-train station Stuttgart-Mitte, one station by S-train from the central railway station. Yet it is quiet. Check-in was quick and efficient. The staff was kind and polite. I spent one night in the hotel. The room was clean and spacious enough. There were a quite comfortable bed, table, chair, small wardrobe, and TV. Bottle of water was available at an extra charge (quite high, in my opinion). The bathroom was also clean. Towels and shampoo+shower gel in one were provided. WiFi was free and reliable. Breakfast costs more than €14 per person, that is quite expensive in my opinion. You can just go outside and have your breakfast in one of the cafés, there are plenty of them near the hotel. I enjoyed my stay!

The hotel is comfortable and very clean. The location is excellent at the end of Konningstrasse yet it is quiet. Réception staff are very helpful and accommodating. Parking is available at an extra charge. The rooms are a tiny bit small but overall fine. If possible do not take breakfast here as it is around €14 per person, and just outside the hotel you will find plenty of cafés to choose from.

Spent 2 nights here. Check in quick and efficient. In a Pedestrian area so cannot park/unload at front but car park at back (you need to press buzzer and provide details as auto shutters). The hotel is actually comprised of two hotels merged, one on pedestrian side is older and rooms DO NOT have air con I was told. We had room at car park side (ie newer hotel) which did have air con, and lovely big room with decent sized bathroom. Check which 'bit' you're in if you want air con / bigger room! Did not add breakfast as option, due to stacks of places to eat right outside (inc McD's who are open early/late). No courtesy tea/coffee, large water but they charge you if you drink it (no note saying this so a little sneaky but hey ho). Train access 50 yards away. Overall great location, recommend and would use again.

A pleasant hotel suitable for an overnight stay , close to the station. The room was an adaquste size with a comfy bed. Storage space quite good. A small but clean bathroom. Vending machines in reception. It has tv and wifi. Extra pillows available from reception. Breakfast basic but adaquste costs 14 euros extra.

Located a few meters from Stadtmitte train station (direct access from the airport with the S2,S3 Strassenbahn) , this three star hotel has small single rooms which need renovation. There is a small lobby/reception; I arrived during a very hot weather and I did not realize until I arrived that the hotel was not air conditioned. I was allocated for the first night a room which had the sun coming through it for the whole day and it was impossible to sleep even though I had a small ventilator switched on for the whole night...I asked to be moved for the other two nights and it was a relief as it was not as hot and I was able to sleep....The bathroom with a shower is small but it has all the amenitiesThe hotel is in the pedestrian area of Stuttgart with restaurants and open air seating everywhere. You can walk almost everywhere in the city centre from the hotel. I had the buffet breakfast at the hotel for my stay which I did not find as good value for money- you can walk out of the hotel and you are surrounded by cafes for breakfast for a lot less money. The staff were ok but not necessarily friendly. The wifi was average, too slow during peak usage times.
