... there's no "Good" rating on TA, only "Average" and "Very Good". This hotel is actually very well located with good shops and markets around. The Marienplatz subway station and Inclined Railway station is also right at the hotel's doorstep if one plans to go uphill for a view of Stuttgart, or visit the Fernsehturm, Stuttgart's TV tower. The room was also very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The reasons why I couldn't give this a "Very Good" rating is because, One: The WiFi is terribly weak, unless you surf while seated on the toilet. Two: The janitor decided it's OK to try and open our door before it was even 9AM. I thought some confused drunk was trying break in! Good thing I chain-bolted the door! So unless those two points above bothers you more than anything, I would say this hotel is a decent place to stay for it's tariff.
Only stayed here for 1 night but hotel was good, room was lovely and big and bed was very comfy. Hotel is not in the centre and we made the mistake of thinking we could walk to it from the station but a taxi was needed, so if you are looking to stay in the centre bear this in mind as it's a lot further away. Stuttgart is a lovely place and will defiantly be back!
We were at the Park Inn for one night. The location is brilliant and the room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were always helpful and friendly, and the restaurant in the lobby is lovely, if on the expensive side. The machines in the gym were not very adjustable, and the sauna was confusing, it wasn't clear if it was mixed or not (separate entrances lead to the same room, though that might have been our fault for not being familiar with the local traditions. On arrival, we were annoyed that the air-conditioning was turned to arctic: hotels that preach about saving water may spare a thought for electricity. Our room was on the Marienplatz side, and despite good isolation, the traffic noise continued all night, just a con of staying in the city-center. Overall we were satisfied though.
A week stay discovers details. Cleaning ok. Breakfast good for2- 3 days, than bored. Room silent. Sauna clean and good. Cosy lobby. Subway nearby. Enough options for dinner in the area. For longer stay ask for rooms on the yard side.
Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. In a good location in the city centre close to tram station. Few trendy bars and restaurants close by.Staff are very friendly and understanding and eager to help. In total I enjoyed my stay and will definitely chose this place for my next visit.
Great hotel to stay in, clean hotel with big airy comfy rooms. One of the best showers i've ever had in a hotel. Rooms cleaned everyday. Hotel bar was good and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the Marienplatz area which is a nice place with lots of things round about it, bars, restaurants, U-Bahn stops and shops. For the price compared to other hotels it was great. Marienplatz is only about 15 mins if you're lucky away from the main Hauptbahnhof with various trains to the central station. WiFi was occasionally a bit poor, this was round about times where you'd expect it maybe to morning and at night. Would recommend this place for a good place to stay.
It was a clean hotel a a good location with some very nice restaurants and cafes near by. However the staff is rude. Not helpful and a huge minor is that they don't speak English. The cherry of the pie though was that they CHARGED US FOR THE ROOM 3 TIMES. YES, my cousin paid for me as a gift, they NEVER told us and then they got hold of the amount from my visa not once but twice. so we ended up paying for the room 3 times. And after i left it was a whole issue to solve since i had to call again and again to be able to have a proper conversation with a receptionist who speaks English.
We stayed in the Park Inn for two nights at the end of January for a girls trip away, 11 of us varying in age from 14 to 76, not one of us could fault the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful and lovely. We walked into the main square within twenty minutes, passing through the main shopping street. It was perfect for what we wanted.
I stayed at this hotel on a trip through Switzerland and Germany in early January 2017. I arrived on a train at the Hbf and easily took the subway to the hotel. The subways in Stuttgart work on the "honor system" where they assume you've purchased a ticket but there aren't any gates to insert the ticket. The ticket machines are very easy to use and even have an "English" button - choose Stop Number "145" for 2.40 Euros and then take either the Green U14 (direction: Heslach) or the Brown U1 (direction: Vaihingen) train for 5 stops (10 minutes) to Marienplatz and the hotel is visible when you exit the station. To return to the Hbf choose Stop Number "200" and just take any train in the reverse direction for the same cost. While not near the train station this hotel is only about 10 minutes away from the main shopping street (Kronprinzstraße) by foot or less by subway and is right in front of the fascinating cog railway but not much more. This hotel is mostly in a residential area with few restaurants or shops in the area but there is a restaurant and bar on the ground floor and breakfast was available for an additional cost that I didn't try so I can't comment on the quality. The small TV had several news channels in English; Bloomberg Europe, BBC World Report, CNBC, BBC One London, BBC Two England, e-TV and CBeebies. This relatively new (2010) and large hotel (181 rooms on 7 floors) was a great value. The room was very quiet with concrete floors and no room to room or outside noise because of the double paned windows. In the bathroom there was a large shower (no tub) with a powerful hairdryer, magnifying mirror, good towels, full length mirror, handwashing crème and conditioning shampoo. There was also a fitness center, self-service laundry, PC in the lobby to check e-mails and 2 floors of meeting rooms. Just across the plaza is a new Ibis hotel if this hotel is full. This is a new, clean and quiet hotel walking distance to the shopping area of Stuttgart. I enjoyed my 3 night stay and my only complaint was the small comforter on the bed instead of the usual sheets and blanket I expected. I have recommended this hotel to others looking for a place to stay in the city of Stuttgart.
I stayed in this hotel for overnight and was good. the room is new, nice, clean, comfortable and big enough. Wifi was free staff were nice and helpful. the breakfast was great with wide selection of food. There is a Rewe branch next to the hotel.
