Perfect for a long weekend in Stuttgart. Hotel is located in a nice square, directly at Marienplatz U-Bahn station, so it is easy and convenient to get around the city. Immediate area has some nice bars and cafes, plus a drugstore and grocery store in the same building with long opening hours so you can pick up snacks/drinks/etc with no problem. About a 20-25 minute easy, flat walk into downtown. Hotel itself was modern and the room was a great size for Europe. We had a room overlooking the inner courtyard, so it was very quiet. Big king bed, fantastic shower and plenty of space for luggage/clothes. Only downsides were that none of the UK channels worked while we were there and there was a fire alarm in the middle of one night (not hotel's fault and it was handled relatively quickly). They could also improve the check-out situation as the line was really long and slow when we left - we had already paid in advance, so it would have been nice to be able to do in-room checkout or just drop our keys and go. All in all, I was very happy with my stay, especially for the price paid, and will definitely stay again next time I'm in Stuttgart.
I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The location is good, next to underground station. The room is pretty good. It is clean and confortable. The bathroom as well. The only issue I think I should remark is that there is no minibar in the room. And that was a bad thing, because I wanted to put some things in it and then had to ask the reception to keep in the refrigerator. But beyond that, everything ok. I recommend the hotel.
We stayed here in January 2018 and it was a really pleasant hotel. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The room is very comfortable. It is about 25 minute walk away from the centre of Stuttgart, which is no problem at all as the walk is good. However the transport system was changed in December so make sure you get the correct directions from the hotel as the ones on the website are wrong, but we soon got over that after we rang the hotel after being stuck in the train station for 30 minutes wondering how do we get to the hotel. Would I come back, yes I would.
Stayed for 2 nights in November. The stay was reasonable. Easy access by metro/u-bahn, although you have to cross a busy road. We walked to the city centre to try and see more of the city, it took about 20 minutes to Konigstrasse. I didn't particularly like the reception/entrance area, felt a bit small as it's like a bar, lounge and reception all in one, so people can be watching football on the TV, sipping on a cocktail and you have to pass with your suitcase between the chairs to check-in. You will also have to pass through that area every time you want to enter/leave the hotel. I was ofered a reduced price breakfast for the duration of thr stay when checking in, but the offer was ONLY valid if reserved at the moment we checked in. We ended up reserving it for only the second morning and the breakfast was very nice. Finding the room was OK, and I like that you need a room key to access the lifts, but they really should review their sign system on each floor as it is shown as 2 rows with numbers and arrows, but it is not clear if the arrows refer to the number that appears directly above them or next to them. Room was quite large with bright windows, bathroom was a wet bathroom type, but that may only have been our room as it was a reduced mobility accessible room (who puts these rooms at the end of a corridor? This was the furthest room from the lifts!). I had no noise issues from the road and the curtains were pretty good at blocking the sunlight. There is a nice bar/restaurant downstairs and a couple of shops next door (DM & Rewe), as well as some cafes/bars, fast food and a supermarket open until midnight at Marienplatz. All in all, I expected the rooms to be nicer for what was paid, but there were no massive shortcomings in terms of the room, perhaps the biggest was the lack of a small fridge/mini bar. If the price was good, I would stay again, but if comparable to locations closer to the centre or the main station, might consider that instead.
Clean, friendly, good location with nice cafe's around. Easy access by train part of way to the TV Tower, then 15 minute lovely walk through the forest. Hotel sauna good, gym equipment good! Definitely recommend this hotel and location.
Came to Stuttgart for work and decided to stay over at the Park Inn for an extended weekend. Can't stop raving about my stay. There was even a concert in the Marienplatz square infront of the hotel, but there was absolutely no noise. Even got a free late check out and the breakfast was amazing! The hotel was clean and the beds were so comfy!
We stayed over the new year and we were very surprised by the excellent sound insulation given that the room was overlooking Marienplatz. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Hotel is 15 minutes walk from the centre, otherwise a few minutes by underground. Highly recommended hotel!
I requested a quiet room but was given a room on 1st floor overlooking a busy road. I contacted reception and they gave me another room, but still looked over the same road. Finally given a room at the rear but it seemed to be a smoking room, or at least smelt that way! At this stage I couldn’t be bothered complaining and potentially moving rooms once more! The receptionist was apologetic, but it did not leave me a good impression of the Radisson brand.
Location and room very good but I do not like the cleaning agent of the neighbour table in my breakfast. They started with cleaning at the opening hours, which is for me a no-go. Noise and no respect to the customer
I’ve never experienced such an unfriendly welcome in an hotel in the last years. I arrived after 9pm from the airport and was happy to get two hours of sleep before I have to leave again to my DJ gig in the center of Stuttgart. but the first thing I get to hear that the hotel is over booked and because I was „so late“ my room was given away and I will be sent to out of town Hotel Pullman. (15min drive) no apologize and nothing from the staff later I tried to explain my situation that it makes no sense for me to go out of the city, to come back to the city for my DJ gig to go back to hotel after to come back to the city tomorrow (Train station). But no chance. No I have to ride in and out. pay extra taxi rides (for approx. 100,- / half covered by the hotel) plus the time I‘m loosing that i was supposed to stay at the room!! Not to mention I’m a Carlson Club member - what doesn’t mean nothing to them. what i don’t understand is: why they make it look like it was my fault?! that is crazy.
