Simple but comfortable rooms. Be aware that only some have air conditioning. Comfy beds. Breakfast was very good. Amazingly quiet at night even with windows open, very little street noise. About 2-3 blocks from a major S bahn (local train) stop so very easy to get around.
Good hotel with neat, clean rooms and a nice staff. Metro stations are close by and so is the St John's Church. We were in Stuttgart mainly for the Porsche and Mercedes museum, so did not explore the city much, but the hotel is conveniently placed to travel around. Just to note, they do not have free tea/ coffee vending in the room.
Spacious room, with no air-condition. People at reception were helpful and open 24 hours. Breakfast was €12.90 per person but was tasty with a good selection of food. Quiet area and close to S station and 15 minutes walk to center
We stayed here 3 nights. Location was great as it is no more than 2 blocks from local transportation. The room and bathroom were spacious. Our beds were very comfortable. Our check in was quick and pleasant. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning which was pleasant. Our only issue and it had nothing to do with the hotel itself was that due to the proximity to residences, you can hear everything being spoken or worse, yelled. Try to get a room that does not face the street. Regardless, the hotel was worth the price and yes we would stay here again.
For a long weekend in Stuttgart the Novum Rega Hotel was a good base. Placed in working distance to the centre of town and very close to tram and metro lines if you would prefer that. Getting there is easy and there is street parking (paid) as well as a parking basement with the hotel (also paid). Check-in was fast and easy, friendly staff and 24-hour reception. Room had a good size and offered both a small table and a desk. Since we did not have breakfast at the hotel, I cannot say anything about that. However if you decide to have breakfast outside there are several small bakeries and cafes offering different breakfast options. All in all we had a good stay at Novum Rega and would probably use it again if we would stop by Stuttgart.
Nice hotel in the center of the city. The price was reasonable and the hotel very clean. I would definitely stay again if I visited the city. The metro station is only 300 metres away from the hotel and the shopping center about 500 metres
After having stayed in other hotels in Stuttgart I decided to give Novum Rega a try as it was pretty central. Great stay for the 3 of us, top floor spacious room, very quiet where we stayed and very close to the Feuersee S-Bahn stop on the Airport line. There was a bar across the road if you wanted a drink, lively when we went in. A 5 minute walk to a nice café, Netzer and also a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We were in Stuttgart for the Cannstatter Volksfest Festival, which was a short 3 stops away from us on the same line as the airport S-Bahn. Hotel was very reasonable compared to hotels in Munich for Oktoberfest, one of the reasons we chose Stuttgart. You could get breakfast at a cost but to be honest when we went down in the mornings it didn't look up to much. All in all I would recommend this hotel for a place to stay in Stuttgart. Hotel was also clean and staff were fine. Like other reviews and other hotels in Germany as a whole, in need of updating.
Booked three nights here in a single room. I was meeting friends for the Cannstatter Volksfest. The hotel was well located in the city centre and very close to the Feursee S-Bahn stop, allowing cross city connections in record time. The hotel was very expensive for my stay, partly due to me booking last minute and due to the festival being on however I found it very comfortable, the staff friendly and housekeeping really look after the rooms, despite the age of the rooms. I work in a hotel that is just a couple of years old but think the housekeepers here set a really high standard. The bathroom had a great shower, hot hot water and awesome pressure, useful amenity's, perhaps new towels could be the next investment, they weren't big and fluffy like you want in a hotel, but still fine I did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on this. Overall I had a very good stay, had the price been more affordable then this would be worthy of 5 stars. I understand
This hotel is well located in a quiet part of Stuttgart. I picked it based upon the fact that it is within walking distance of the city center and s-bahn. The hotel could probably do with a renovation as the rooms and furniture looks very old and tired. We also found the rooms to be very warm and there wasn't any air conditioning.
This is a more traditional hotel, not a modern style. But it's clean, the staff friendly, and the rooms large and the shower works great. Lots of pressure and hot water. The breakfast buffet has lots of variety and the bread and salami are delicious ! It's perfectly comfortable and I would stay here again just to be close (10 min walk) to the centre.
