We stayed at this hotel while visiting the musical alladin. The service is very poor. We booked a family room for 3 adults. The room had only 2 glases and we did not get a another one. You do not get al the feeling you are welco e and if you want some food you better reserve in advance for a table. The breakfast was a nigtmare. You have t o queue up for ages to get coffee and s.o.

Stayed for 2 nights with a group of mates whilst we visited the Oktoberfest in the city. A really good hotel. Very easy access to the train station firstly so getting in to the city was dead easy, The hotel itself was very nice, with a pub, casino, spa and tea room to name just some of the amenities. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic - one of the best hotel breakfasts that I've had. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the rooms themselves were extremely comfortable. Plus, if you like your blue movies, there were tonnes free on the in room TV! The only negative I would have is that the air conditioning in the room is incredibly dry and waking up both mornings, I felt like my throat was about to fall out because it was so dry!

Good frontage taxi easy to catch and have ordered, friendly staff, we had a suite and the room was beautiful, mood lighting, airy, big windows, clean attached resturants very handy especially if your not wanting to go out of hotel. The breakfast is to die for, lots of choice, and always plenty. we came down for breakfast 8:30 and 10:15, breakfast closes at 10:30, and there were still plenty of food on the serving platters.

I checked into my room on a hot summer day to find out that the Air conditioning was not working. After a long journey this is the last thing you need. When asked to change the room they wanted to give me a room on another level, imagine the trouble to take your entire luggage again to another floor. I requested them to at least give me a room on the same floor which they did finally, i thought this is common sense. One good thing was i asked for a late check out and they happily did that until 6 p.m. so that was very helpful. The breakfast is also decent.

Checked in at midnight and was met by a queue of 10 meters of waiting persons. After one hour of waiting and almost lynch mood from Germans standing in line, I could finally check in with the help of only one employee at the reception desk of this huge hotel. This is the first time in my life, that I have experienced so bad customer care in a four star hotel. The bed in my room had a sagged mattress and felt like a rope hammock. My back was killing my after a nigth in the bed. The air conditioning in the room could only cool down to 26 degrees Celsius at night. After complaining twice and received an answer that it should be so, I gave up. It was nice to finally be able to leave this badly managed hotel.

The only thing positive about this place is it‘s consistency. Unfortunately it is consistently bad. The rooms are shabby and cheap, with the room itself refurbished but already worn, as arranged completely in white and with very cheap materials. The bathrooms are not even touched, so you have a very awkward blend of modern white interior with beige and stoneware in the bathrooms recalling the 80s. Same poor impression in the various restaurants. I tried 3 of them, they are all providing a poor service and unfortunately also a very low level of food quality. The staff is mainly untrained and without any clue, the more experienced personal is lacking any kind of motivation. Last but not least, the overall atmosphere in the SI Zentrum, the home of musicals in Stuttgart, is really depressing. In a nutshell: a place to absolutely avoid!

The stay and the staff was perfect But for a 4 stars international resort, it's a shame that the cards that we hang on the door to have our room clean or not are not translated in english... I put the wrong card because my level in german is poor and as a result I didn't have my room cleaned.... That is the kind of detail that won't make me come back.. I've never seen that in ANY other hotels I have made, even in a 3 or 2 stars hotel.. Now I see the Dormero resort as a cheap resort... :-(

Pros - bar staff (English Mike) was very professional. Food was good. Nice casino. Excellent breakfast. Cons - A/C Doesn't work in the hotel rooms. This is despite several visits from maintenance. Room not cleaned daily - had to ring reception each day to request. No iron in room. 1 iron per floor of hotel. Overall, I think there's better options available for 200 euro per night.

I had an amazing time visiting Baden Wurttemberg! The Dormero Hotel Stuttgart is a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful (taxis, directions and excursions). The breakfast buffet is excellent. If I have the opportunity to visit this beautiful city again, I will be back.
