I have never been in a more friendly hotel and this is all thanks to Marina and Daniel. best team evar!!! Moxy you made my day:) i want to come back asap !!! front desk and bar super friendly!! everything I ever wanted!!!:)
This was the first time staying at what I would call a boutique travel hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Since more and more hotels are joining the Bonvoy brand, this hotel is a member, checking in and out is a breeze. I arrived at the hotel early morning and checked-in in under 5 minutes. The room, was not what I expected after staying in more mainstream hotels. I was surprised by the lack of closets, ironing board, etc., but soon came to realize that I really didn't need it. There was an ironing room on the 2nd floor that served my purpose. The lobby and bar area was laid out nice. It was warm, easy going and not pretentious. The bar stayed open till late in the evening for those who were still suffering from jet lag. It was a refreshing change. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was nicer than some of the other hotels I've stayed in recently. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and would stay there again.
I've stayed in a few Moxy's in past year and they are very good and very consistent. You get a smaller room with great beds and showers... but if you want to iron a shirt, be prepared to go down the hall to the ironing room. The lobby is combination bar/reception/social hall, and has a fun vibe. Great choice for the money!
We stayed at this hotel for one night before flying to USA from Stuttgart airport. We payed a very reasonable price for the night and the room was a queen room with a bed comfortable and well appointed for our needs. It is a very hip, trendy lobby and bar to encourage interaction with fellow guests! The breakfast was continental and more than adequate for our needs. I am not sure it is worth 12euro per person though. The taxi ride is between 15-20 euro to and from the airport. They did a nice job coordinated my return to the airport the next morning. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again for the right price.
Some one has been Stealing from ouer room. ( there are no safety box.) And the hotel dident care. I have mailed whit some lady but now she dont answer my mails anymore. So i lost for 140 euro perfume at this hotel.!!!! I have rapported it to the police in Echterdingen . But the case is to small.. they dont do anything eater. :(
Visited in Oct and was a little disappointed for a room which is in the £160+ PN market and a member of the Marriott chain it was very disappointing..... The room was clean and the bed was comfy however very sparse with very basic decor, no wardrobe and basic bathroom with only 2 small towels in a double room. Employees were very polite and helpful and check in was a breeze! I did not visit the bar area in the evening but seemed to be pleasant enough. Breakfast was continental and continually stocked however no spoons available The hotel may wish to mention there is an active building site across the parking area with building works starting as early as 0730 in their website. I wouldn’t plan a stay for more than a night maybe 2 unless you are fantastic at living out of your suitcase!
A good decent price hotel, but NOT for families with kids A nice, clean, brand- new place with the receptionists with fluent English. There is a cocktail bar with some fast food downstairs with a free welcome drink, how cool is that?! And there is a mini- library on design, cars, and a small gym, probably free of charge as well. The room was about 35 sq m, everything was working just perfectly fine, with all the appliances new. Just one thing that alerted us, all the other stuff is superb- the place seems like a trendy, hip spot designed for the young guys/ girls in a need for a 'one night stand/ casual sex'. All the hotel pink decor and the wallpapers with over-reacted people on it suggest that. my fiancee got the same feeling, but that's for the people that see that stuff
It has AC.The rooms are cool, the place is clean. It has everything here that a traveler can ask for. Even friendly people working the store. This is my one good review of hotels in German, the rest were just ok or bad.I would definitely stay again here!
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times, and my review would be very positive except for on most stays my room smells of sewer water. Knowing that this is common throughout the hotel I tried to find a solution. I realized that the smell was indeed coming from the sink and shower drains, so closing the sink drain and covering the shower drain helped a lot. Under the sink there is a device that looks like it is meant to be a P-trap, but it is clearly not doing the job. I can't imagine why the hotel has not had the original plumber back to fix the problem. It is a shame.
A barebones Marriott with limited parking attached to the hotel or you have to go hunt for street parking. Clean and modern, but short on space and amenities. It’s not bad, but I’d only stay here again if I had no other choices.
