Room was small but comfortable - staff was helpful

Clean, friendly staff, great location, reasonably priced

Very charming little hotel. It is small but has sick style and is in a nice area for restaurants and bars. Has a great rooftop bar

I stayed in one of the single rooms for 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Despite the small room, the room was very well designed and so small space was just fine. The hotel (and their sister hotels) are very well designed. I also loved that I could go up to the hotel room and capture sunset photos of old town. And, I also went to their sauna (in the Lady Hamilton hotel) and thought that was a great perk. Thank you Lord Nelson!

Hotel is in a great central location. Staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly.

Single room is small, but cute. Breakfast and location great!

The location and atmosphere of the Lord Nelson are its strongest points. It is a historic location and hotel with lots of artifacts right in the main lobby. It was walking distance to the center of town and very safe. Nearby the hotel are lots of small cute and tasty restaurants and other shops that are quaint if a little touristy. I liked the small room, as I was only one person it fit my needs. It was clean, quiet ,and the bed was very comfortable. I liked hearing the church bells ring the times. The breakfast is nice in the main lounge. The view on the fourth floor is pretty cool, of rooftops that are characteristic of Stockholm's old city. I was not there much but when I was it was a good place to rest and feel part of the old city.

The Lord Nelson (and its sister hotel, the Lady Hamilton) is in an ancient building in Gamla Stan, the Olde Towne section of Stockholm. If you're looking for space and luxury, this is not for you. The hotel has plenty of character and is filled with interesting paintings, photos, and artifacts. The two strongest assets are location and service. Olde Towne has several interesting sites, including the magnificent palace and the Nobel Prize musuem, not to mention many good restaurants and some lively night "club" offerings. The hop on-hop off boat service is nearby and takes you to several city locations at a reasonable price. The hotel staff was cheerful, helpful and amazingly responsive. The Lord Nelson is an interesting place to say at a bargain price in expensive Stockholm.

Did sightseeing tours...great location (7 minute walk to most attractions) No housekeeping on weekends (sheets were spotted when I got there) Only 5 TV stations (all in Hungarian)

Great staff. Room was very small albeit clean. My only complaint is that the listing said "Internet Access" but it did not say that there is an extra charge for this, which I found out after I had checked in. Very disappointing for a business traveler. All hotels should have Internet access at no extra charge, just as having a toilet is at no extra charge.
