Overall the hotel was nice. One of the elevators was down. Booked a room that sleeps 4 however and only got pool passes for 3 because “that’s all the room includes” asked about possibly purchasing another pool pass and was told could not do that either and the lady checking us in stated there was nothing she could do about it. What’s the point of getting 3 passes if you have 4 in your party?

The Last Hotel was newer, clean and unique. We learned it had been converted from an old office building, so it didn’t have a typical “hotel feel” to it. The rooftop pool and bar were great. Staff was kind and helpful.

Loved the pool, and the design/decor of the hotel. We had to switch rooms because our first room appeared it was only half clean, still had trash in the trash can, odd spots in the shower. Second room was great, no soap by the sink, and no trash bags in any of the cans. Overall a good experience, comfy bed too!!

The history behind the hotel is really cool; it used to be a shoe factory in the early 1900s. The staff could not have been nicer and the room I stayed in was comfortable and spacious, especially the shower! Would recommend to anyone thinking about staying here.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Very unique. Plan to stay here again soon.

From the first to the "Last" moments at the hotel the staff was always very friendly, attentive and kind. The design and details related to the hotel's history as a shoe factory was beautifully executed. With shoe related "winks" throughout. The rooms were so well thought out, it was as if we walked into a Mad Men episode... like we were living in a moment in time long ago. Dinner was incredible and the drink menu an adventure and triumph. We also really enjoyed the live Jazz Friday evening. We hope to return, so that we can enjoy the historical tour offered at the property and learn more about our favorite St. Louis Hotel.

Greetings and thank you so much for your comments and feedback! We apologize for the rooms experience, but glad we could move you to accommodate. Generally, we never have plastic bags in trash cans, but soap naturally is a must so apologize for that not being present. We do hope to see you again!
