Classy older facility very convenient for downtown appointments.
This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. It was in close walking distance to the Arch and Busch Stadium. It's such a cool historic building that's been kept up well. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely stay here again.
The location of this hotel was great. We were able to leave our cars in the garage and walk to see all the sites. The hotel has a old feel but I think that is what sets it apart from a normal hotel. The staff was helpful however at check in we were not told that the garage is gated after a certain hour or the procedure to get in or out if needed after hours. We appreciate the Clubs concern for our safety but just wish we were informed at check in.
Small rooms, but convenient. Very clean and friendly staff.
Good location, friendly staff, large parking lot Antique room, but feels good
The room was very cold. The TV didn't change channel sometimes. Please install full length mirrors in every room. I was told there were updated rooms ( which I requested). If there is a next time I would only stay in the updated rooms.
This room has not been updated since the 1950's. Terrible bathroom and shower. Old beds and depressing paint job.
Room was nice but Facility was amazing. Like staying in a time location. Great Location in Downtown St. Louis. Olympic Swimming Pool, Full Size Basketball Court, Great Weight Room, Old Time Billiards Room. Amazing. Definitely recommend.
We needed a night in St Louis and this place came in the cheapest with the best location. Able to walk to many bars and restaurants as well as casino. Nice amenities however feels a little stuck up inside.
Great location, across the arch, next to the casino, a short walk to the stadium, plenty of restaurants, a couple blocks from the metro train.
Very friendly staff, close to several downtown restaurants and the Arch, as well as the Edward Jones Dome. Make sure to take advantage of the pool, steam room, etc.
The hotel was a hit!!! The employee staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a lot of history in the hotel which I thought was very educational. Bar none the best workout facility I have ever been to on a hotel stay, it is massive! I will be back to stay at the hotel on my next trip to St.Louis. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.
Nice hotel with a lot of history. Close to local attractions and local diners.
Stayed two nights and would definitely stay here again when in the city. The location is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. While the rooms are dated and on the small side it was a good value to be able to walk to the nearby locations in downtown St. Louis.
This is a beautiful old athletic and social club in the heart of downtown St. Louis. Nice rooms well-appointed and clean. Decent bathroom and shower, although I lost hot water during my morning shower. Courteous, professional staff. A good deal for the price.
The rooms at this hotel weren't in the best shape. We were put in a room on a floor that was undergoing construction, and there were tarps and plastic sheeting, and a general mess all over the hallway. It seemed like they should not have rented the room out when that floor was under construction. Also, the bathroom door in our room didn't lock. But the lobby and other areas of the hotel were very beautiful. I think it would be a good place for an event, rather than a place for a family to stay.
the only pleace is very nice is the reception room the lobby it's ok the restaurant I don't no because they have dress codes our room was on floor 3 and we hep to walk all way to the end and we open the door and surprise very cold feel like a walking cooler and the bathroom upp SSS where is the shower very small shower no pleace to put stuff on the door was very old 1950 no lock on the bathroom and the shower has this little strip of water no view we stay 2 nights and they forget to due the room again good thing we only use for the night but the stuff from the front desk was very nice it's ok never again it's to many better sorry but noooo :((((
Nothing fancy in the room but the location to everything (we walked everywhere, even the Cards game) and staff made it worth the outdated room.
The rooms were a little too small and the bathroom was extremely tiny.. The shower drain was apparently backed up since I stood in water the whole time during my shower. Overall, good location and price. Walking distance to a lot of places.
