This has been a terrible experience with Lakeside in receiving no calls (other than leaving messages on their voicemail) and no contact (no return calls) other than when we arrived the second time to the location to check in after 3pm there was a man on the property who told us we needed to leave that it was closed and we were trespassing. We said we had paperwork that we paid to stay there and he said he didn’t know anything he was the contractor and he was going to call the police. We were scared and left. We did see on one of Lakesides sites that they opened at 3pm which was why we left the first time, came back, thinking it was a mom and pops place and maybe a local came and opened it up for everyone after 3pm. But again, when we came back after 3 (per their website) which was closer to 4:30pm when the man ran us off the property. We decided to stay at another hotel instead as we had no where to stay after this incident. This location needs to be taken every site offered. Seems they are collecting money and have it set up as if they are in business (with no return contact on their end) or something recently happened to the business major (closing) that hasn’t been communicated to the sites hosting them.
