Stayed here for a couple of nights as a fill in as usual place was fully booked. Check in process took forever even though we arrived after the 2pm check in time as room not available. Credit to the hotel though after making comment on booking websites check in quick review we were contacted by the manager to obtain feedback and also provided with a complimentary fruit platter. He had also reviewed the CCTV footage. Hotel itself is quite basic but comfortable. Rooms are a good size, well maintained and clean. Issue noted with room is that there is only one usable plug (not near the bed) which in today’s connected world was a bit inconvenient. Location is OK and walkable into the CBD area and close to Robertson Quay restaurants and bars.

Stayed here for 3 nights 4 days as a stopover to Perth, Australia. Hotel was very clean but facilities basic and very busy at times due to conferences taking place and quick turnover of clients on short term stays which the staff in the hotel seemed to struggle with at these times. Restaurant were breakfast was available was at times chaotic with tables not cleared straight away, coffee machines not refilled and no cutlery available. Hotel staff do not seem to have any hospitality training but were very friendly. The hotel is conveniently based and taxis are always available. I would advise not to eat in the Chinese restaurant in the hotel as it is very expensive and poor service and there are plenty of places to eat near the hotel or visit Clarkes Quay which is a short taxi ride away for some very good places to eat and drink.

Actually stayed there several times, hotel is not so new - but everything is clean. Staff is very friendly, they always ready to assist. Location is quite good: Orchard road is not so far, China Town is 10 min to go. Restaurant is nice - good choice of food both Asian and western. Recommended !!

Clean environment. Find it to be acceptable. Just find the facilities kinda old. Peach garden and ikoi restaurant in the hotel. Area for improvement: Tv not according to the channel stated on the card. Some channel are in black and white. Room telephone line faulty, difficult for the other person at the end to understand what I am talking.

stayed here oct 2017, this was a large hotel, with a very friendly staff, and it had an outlook over the river,, the rooms were a good size and clean, the bed was very comfortable. the bathroom was large, with a bath and overhead shower. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus. it also had a small gym on the the 4th floor and a rooftop pool all in all was nice .....and if you plan on a day out to sentosa island, you catch the bus right outside the hotel .and if you want to see singapore you can get a day visitor pass at the train station, which is just a short walk away, the pass will cost you 20.00 dollars, you canuse it on the trains and buses, and when you return your ticket you will get 10.00 dollars back all in all a great deal and you get to see this wonderful city at your leisure .....back to the hotel i had a really enjoyable stay here, the staff were helpful and friendly, and if you like karaoke well they have that too in the bar.

The location was good, being within reasonable walking distance to ChinaTown metro. The hotel conveniently provides a free shuttle service for clients, taking us to Clarke Quay and the shopping precinct - a great service. The service was professional, and we enjoyed use of the swimming pool, although it was not easily accessible. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed use of a common door between rooms with our travelling companions. Breakfast was a full and fantastic mix of local and western cuisines.

We only had 3 nights in Singapore so knew we were not going to be at hotel much Hotel was more than perfect clean comfortable and good location only 1km walk to Chinatown Hotel breakfast expensive but loads of cafes across other side of street Taxis cheap $10 to universal from hotel

This clean, modern hotel is SGD 21-30 by taxi from Changi Airport. Our 3 night stay was assisted by the free hotel shuttle that ran frequently to both Chinatown and Orchard Road. A leisurely walk to Chinatown took about 30 minutes. Friendly, helpful staff were a ready source of advice and should be listened to if offering guests the loan of a hotel umbrella. Our large room was well equipped including a fridge (essential) and a safe. The bed was firm, supportive and comfortable. The bathroom was large with a shower over bath and the outdoor pool was excellent. Breakfast catered for a wide variety of cultures and is adequate for European tastes though is relatively expensive at $NZ 23pp. The restaurant provided a good quality meal at a reasonable price but for those wishing to explore an amazing range of international cuisines, walk across Havelock Rd and the pedestrian Alkaff bridge, to Quayside. Name your preferred cuisine and you will most probably find it. My only suggestion for improvement would be a Hotel Compendium update. Stay again? Yes.

I would definitely recommend staying in the Hotel Miramar when visiting Singapore. The location is very good and it has good value for money, the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. They have happy hours too which is always a bonus. There is lovely places to stay next to the marina however you probably wouldn't get the benefit of seeing all the restaurants and bars in all of the areas along the quay. Staying here allowed you to see it all. Starting off with the different little squares you can go in to dine or simply enjoy a drink all along the riverside there's more than plenty to choose from before heading to the other popular bars and restaurants further along the key towards the marina.

Clean, tidy, quiet and bright room. Lovely staff. Buffet food could have been done a bit more scrumptious. Tea and coffee facility + free daily supply of bottled water. Huge shower head, great amount of water!
