It was a pleasant experience with a great free hot/cold breakfast. They did have a problem with their soda machine products which was mostly their vendors error. I would definitely recommend it highly and would definitely choose them again if I came back to that area.
The hotel was apparently a retirement home at one time but has of course been renovated and is pleasant enough. Lobby needed new carpeting and something to improve ambiance. Outside grounds needed a lot of work. Looked like further renovations have been going on for a while. My stay was pleasant ...
Wow we were pleasantly surprised how nice this place is. Has everything you need, coffee maker, microwave, refig and good internet. Mexican restaurant right next door. Decent continental breakfast. Very comfy bed with plenty of pillows and outlets for all your stuff.
There was a dirty band aid stuck to the night stand and nail clippings on the floor, we reserved a king bed and ended up with two queens. Luckily it's not a route we travel often, so we won't have to stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel to see the Great Eclipse. Despite the demand for housing near the path of the eclipse, it was very reasonably priced. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. However, the place needs to address some maintenance issues. I can't speak to the rest of the rooms, but the shower did not work in mind - there was no lever to redirect the water from the bathtub spigot to the shower. The plate that normally houses such a lever simply had a smooth plate over it. I can't believe the owners don't know this. Whether or not they do, it should be addressed.
This was a quick stop on a business trip. This was not my first visit to the hotel and it has always been a great stop. My only disappointment this time was the chastisement I received from the check in person about not using their website to book the hotel. I explained I travel a lot internationally so use a site where I will receive credit because there is not always a name brand where I travel. He again stated I should always book when I can through their website as I would get better deals. I felt this was out of line and not very welcoming. If it were my first stop here I would have wondered if the service I received was different because of where I booked the hotel.
Comfortable bed, clean, small room. Not super modern or updated but it was fine. Pet friendly and breakfast was decent enough to get us up and moving for the rest of our trip.
I waited too long to find a hotel and had to book a farther away from our activies than I had hoped. But I must say the price made up for it! The staff were very good! Each morning the breakfast area was serviced at all times - not something you always see. The price was great & overall a good experience.
