Loved the staff and breakfast area, The room smelled like mold and mildew when the ac/heater was running and when I turned on the bathroom fan/light it smelled like ancient cigarette smoke which was gross The staff were excellent and very nice. I would never recommend any non smokers to stay there because of the cigarette smell. Also I had to go in town and get sinus medicine because of the cigarette smell and the mold / mildew smell from the a/c heater.

view was great. you pass the Inn on rt 33 west. you get off the next exit and no signs. you have to go down the road and there is a small ground level blue sign with a yellow C .You turn in to want looks like a housing development and drive through it and then you see the Inn.

If I had to describe this hotel in one word, HORRIBLE would be the word I would use. 1st let me start off with the only positive comment I can make, the room was very clean. Now for all the negative, the lobby area was very dirty. It looked like it had not been cleaned since the last snow fall because of all the rock salt laying around. After we paid for the room the clark told us "if you want to make sure you get a hot shower, take it when most people wouldn't be taking one. Before 6am or after 9am. We are having Boiler issues". We try to turn the TV on and the remote didn't work, so we call the front desk and get told "yeah we can't get a remote to work on that TV, we think someone took the remote or the cleaning lady has it in the laundry". We get brought the remote from the TV in lobby and asked to "make sure to return it to the front desk when we check out". The bar is not even worth going into, just don't waste your time. The next morning I decide to use the whilpool tub and after getting into the tub I find out the whilpool didn't work. Now let me say this room is one of their top level rooms which is a suite. Room 149. The kicker came when we checked out and I told them of all the issues we experienced the staff never even said I'm sorry. All they said was "ok thanks for letting us know". I will never be able to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not bad. The Check-in was fine and the staff was pleasant. Our room (king with couch) was ok. It had a weird layout with an octagon window cutout opening in the wall next to the bed that looked right into the whirlpool tub/shower combo that opened directly to the toilet and vanity . You can see and hear anyone who is in the bathroom. It had only a cloth shower curtain to divide the space. It was pretty awkward and annoying. The bed was comfy and it had a nice tv, mini fridge and coffee maker. I did notice some heavy dust and dirt in corners of the room and cob webs too. We never received housekeeping during our four night stay. We caught a housekeeper in the hall and did get a refresh of towels and coffee. I guess she figured we didn’t need anything else for the rest of the stay. I will stay again since there are not many other options in the area.

It’s very clean. Staff very friendly. Nice location.

Stayed in town while visiting a Great Aunt prior to a reunion. Came in late with no problem. Room smelled just a little musty, but the air conditioner was good and the bed was comfortable. Room was clean, and it was quiet.

So friendly. Place was fresh and rooms clean and recently redone. No problem with having bikes in the room with us. Had breakfast early so we could get going by 6 am. Very accommodating.

We traveled to Ohio with our 4yr old to hit the highpoint in that state. We hike a lot of highpoints in different states and stay in hotels a lot when we can't camp. Comfort Inn's have usually been OK. This one seemed no different. The building was newer and the room was nice. The bathtub needed a much better cleaning but everything else seemed clean. Our 1st night was good. The 2nd night things changed. The hotel has a bar and we're not sure whether that played into it. When we parked in the lot someone pulled next to us so close I could barely open my door. There was no way I could open our daughter's door. I had to ask the person to please straighten her car in the spot so we could open her door. I noticed they were drinking a beer when they pulled away. Nice! Then we walked in and saw a woman in the lobby that looked......... ah....of ill repute shall we say. We went to our room. A few min.later I went back to the car for something and when I returned my daughter (4yrs old) said someone got hurt in the room next door. My wife had a look of OMG on her face. Our TV sound was cranked. Guess the lobby woman had the room next to us. It wasn't good. At all!! We heard some kind of electrical shocking and whaling. I went to the front desk immediately and explained what was going on. The managers response was "that girl has a lot of energy". He said he would move us to a different room. You could hear it up and down the hall. The management knew what was going on.NEVER again!!!!

Room was very clean. Staff was great right off highway. Breakfast is ok nothing overwhelming. Sausage was overlooked and potatoes cold dried out every morning.

We were very pleased with our room. It was spacious and clean. Our only suggestion would be to have curtains that close completely so you can keep from seeing the lights outside during the nite.

Clean cmfortable rooms were a good value but the staff seems to struggle to keep it running. Erratic housekeeping, bar, and breakfast schedules were inconvenient but tolerable. Not a lot available for food nearby other than pizza and a major fast food chain.

Just your average hotel. A little pricey for the overall quality.

My husband, daughter and I stayed here because it was nicer than the super 8 in town. Thought it would be a nice place to stay. It was clean, but there is a bar by the lobby and you get to hear kareoke most of the night and listen to drink people acting incredibly obnoxious as they stumble to their cars or their rooms. We also had to park across the street in a grass field because the parking lot was full of the bar goers. So carrying my six month old and all of our luggage was a daunting task, even with my husband. The staff wasn't very pleasant, didn't ask any questions about how our stay was, didn't verify identification upon check in. And we booked a room with a whirlpool tub but was unable to use it because the drain stopper didn't work. Wasn't worth the extra money we paid for it. To say the least, we weren't happy with our visit there.

pretty large room. Open feel. We really enjoyed the diner nearby, homecoming restaurant. Overall, I don't see how it could have been better for our purposes as we were going snowboarding at Mad River Mountain.

Friendly staff; close to Camp Wilson.

Would stay again. Comfortable. Clean. Good value.

I often stay at this hotel for business and have always found it to be clean, quite, and reliable. It is also 1 of 2 hotels in town, and their price reflects that (it's generally a little high for a budget hotel).
