Pleasantly surprised!

The breakfast buffet was great, and I loved the bedding--I had a great night's sleep. I also utilized the gym, but only wish it had a water cooler in there. The location was also awesome since the KAL limousine takes you right to the hotel.

Beautiful Property in Myeongdong!

As my first hotel in Asia EVER, I am very glad I chose this one! At check in, Grace was super nice and very enjoyable to talk with. It was a very nice introduction to my first stay in Korea. The original intention for my journey was just to be on the Delta 747-400 retirement flight on the 19th of December, and buy some holiday gifts from Kukje Electronics Center. But after receiving a warm welcome by the entire staff, it quickly became much more than that. After our discussions, I made it to the N Seoul Tower, and tried lots of delicious Korean food all across the Myeongdong district. As for my room (1207) it was in fantastic condition, and perfectly clean. The in-room clock is also really cool! You can hear a little road noise at night, but it is expected--and did not take away from my enjoyment of the property. Having a coffee shop downstairs was also a great help for when other restaurants had closed, and I needed somewhere to grab a bite to eat late at night. All in all, I really enjoyed the unique charm of this hotel--and I hope I can return someday for a longer stay.

HOTEL SKYPARK Myeongdong III

Good Location,room too small

Hotel location was excellent. It was in the middle of a very busy exciting shopping district, right in front of a subway exit,so I could go back to the hotel without getting wet during a thunder storm.Airport bus stop (to ICN)also was located next to the hotel, but the room was too small and not very clean.(water heater in the room was sticky, clearly not cleaned after somebody before me used it).The curtain in the room was filthy, too, but the linens, coffee cups, shower curtain in the bathroom were clean.I felt like I was staying in the middle of a county fair ground, during a county fair .
