A pretty good location for Myeongdong and for public transport from the airport (the Airport Limo bus stops by the nearby Park Hotel) and for City Hall Metro Station and lots of buses. Not too far from the main railway station either. There are better located hotels right in Myeongdong, but they no doubt cost a lot more.
The staff were helpful and spoke good English and we twice left our cases in the lobby area when we went to Gyeongju for a night and on our last day before our evening flight. That seemed pretty safe.
The first three nights we had a deluxe king room and then for one night a regular king room. Not much difference, but the deluxe was on the 16th floor and had a shower in the bath - not good if you have mobility issues - rather than just a shower. The regular room also didn't have a Japanese style hi-tech toilet!
The negatives were that the heating was on for the whole building (seems to be a thing in Korea) and so the A/C controls didn't work. It was quite cold outside but we ended up sleeping with the windows open to cool the room! This meant it was noisy with early morning clattering outside. Madness in late November and really wasteful for a hotel touting its green credentials. Also, a bedside wall light was loose in both rooms and couldn't be operated from the bed, but only from a switch across the room. Rather silly!
