Wonderful stay and very comfortable. Home was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. There were lots of nice touches throughout, including a nice welcome card and thorough home/neighborhood informational guide. Located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood close to lots of restaurants and shops.

Location and accommodations were wonderful! Super cute neighborhood and the house was charming. Very clean and exactly as described. Bedding was comfortable and the persons touches in the welcoming book and throughout the house were great. Will definitely be back!

The house is so perfect for your pets, so ADA compliant! I spent a month here recovering from major surgery and I was very impressed with how well the hosts took care of me, even putting a ramp in the front to get over the couple of steps. There is a shower chair in case you or your family might need that. And the hosts are so kind and willing to stop by at any time to help out if needed! I really appreciated the fenced in yard for our furry friends. And it’s really just a lovely home to spend some time in Seattle. Ballard is the best neighborhood to be a tourist in. It makes you feel like you are just one of the community. There’s a plethora of good food within a minutes walk or drive everywhere you look. I can’t say enough good things about this home!

We loved our stay at Ballard Hjemsted! Check-in was super easy, and Cole was great to communicate with before and during our stay. Our children were delighted to find chocolates waiting for us. The house was spotless and had everything we needed — even Band-Aids when our daughter got a paper cut. The location is perfect: easy access to downtown Ballard and close to supermarkets and a fantastic bakery (Larson’s Bakery). Our dog loved the yard and the quiet streets for walks. We would definitely stay again!

This is a very charming two bedroom house. Very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and nicely appointed. Great neighborhood and location in the north of Ballard section of Seattle Cole is an excellent host who clearly has thought through the needs of his clients. He made us feel very welcome. His communication was proactive and clear. He was very attentive to our needs to ensure an excellent experience. Our host (Cole) was very welcoming. The place was clean and open/large enough for my family of five. The best part was that it was an 8 minute walk to my son's home nearby. And we really appreciated the rental's interior set-up --- with one bedroom & bath on one side of the place and the other two bedrooms & bath on the other side. (Worked well for my other son and his young family to have their own area.)

I would totally recommend this rental and already have! Pet-friendly, great front yard for your fuzzy friend to run around in along with super clean while still permitting pets. Great to have the ability to do laundry there with kiddos, close to shops and nice area to walk around in.
