We loved our stay at Ballard Hjemsted! Check-in was super easy, and Cole was great to communicate with before and during our stay. Our children were delighted to find chocolates waiting for us. The house was spotless and had everything we needed — even Band-Aids when our daughter got a paper cut. The location is perfect: easy access to downtown Ballard and close to supermarkets and a fantastic bakery (Larson’s Bakery). Our dog loved the yard and the quiet streets for walks. We would definitely stay again!

Our host (Cole) was very welcoming. The place was clean and open/large enough for my family of five. The best part was that it was an 8 minute walk to my son's home nearby. And we really appreciated the rental's interior set-up --- with one bedroom & bath on one side of the place and the other two bedrooms & bath on the other side. (Worked well for my other son and his young family to have their own area.)

We had a great stay at Cole’s Ballard cottage. The house was very clean and the neighborhood is lovely and quiet but close to lots of fun things in Ballard, including a nice neighborhood park and a soccer/baseball field. The house is so perfect for your pets, so ADA compliant! I spent a month here recovering from major surgery and I was very impressed with how well the hosts took care of me, even putting a ramp in the front to get over the couple of steps. There is a shower chair in case you or your family might need that. And the hosts are so kind and willing to stop by at any time to help out if needed! I really appreciated the fenced in yard for our furry friends. And it’s really just a lovely home to spend some time in Seattle. Ballard is the best neighborhood to be a tourist in. It makes you feel like you are just one of the community. There’s a plethora of good food within a minutes walk or drive everywhere you look. I can’t say enough good things about this home!

Cozy Seattle stay.

We were visiting Seattle to meet up with friends. The property Cole had was as advertised. He was responsive with questions. The house was clean, quaint and had everything you would need for a stay.
