Everyone at Blue Dolphin was so friendly and welcoming. We were traveling with small children, so we loved that they had available parking, and the rooms were easy to get to. Part of our view was blocked by a building in front of our room, but the balcony was beautiful and had a great view of the cliffside (exactly as pictured on the website). The room was spacious and comfortable; a perfect fit for a family of four. It was also easy to walk to everything we needed. We loved our stay!
Great view! Best Sunset in Santorini!
Perfect location sitting on high area looking down Firostefani, bay, and volcano. Nice hotel stuff and wonderful breakfast. 20 minutes walking on a beautiful coastal trail to Fira. Taking bus to Oia just not far from the hotel (Bus stop is 5 mintes from hotel). Cost 1.8 Euro one way for 15 mintes ride. Highly recommended to stay on this property while visiting Santorini.
This is one of the most beautiful spots and views on the Island. We had a room with patio that was large and the most beautiful view. The bed mattress was a little harder than what I was used to so I would have liked a more comfortable mattress but it was a really nice room and huge shower. The breakfast was really good too and just enough food. The only things that didn't go write was the hot tub never really got hot enough to be comfortable so if you go in late March just know that it may not be worth it to pay extra for a room with hot tub. We were credited a little on our room for not being able to use it so that made up for the difference. The last thing was we asked for a transfer to airport and they apparently arranged a ride for us and 6 other people. We waited outside the room in the cold for 30 min and had to call a cab instead. Not sure what happened to our ride so you may want to arrange your own in that case. The other issue is the hour are very limited so if you get there two early you have to wait around till 8:30 for someone to check you in. If you show up later than 9:00 pm then they may possibly leave before you can check in at night so you might be kinda screwed. The emergency number they gave us did not answer when our ride didn't show up. Other than that it was a great stay. They apologized and were accomidating.
